Lands set apart as Provisional State Forests declared to be
subject to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act,
1921–22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of
the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that
the lands described in the Schedule hereto, being Provisional
State Forests Nos. 73 and 84, set apart by Proclamations dated
the twenty-fourth day of May, one thousand nine hundred
and twenty-two, and gazetted on the first day of June, one
thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, are required for
settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions
of the said Act, such lands shall, from and after the day of
the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forests, and
shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by
admeasurement 112 acres 3 roods 18 perches, more or less,
being the balance of Section 6, Block I, Karioi Survey District,
after deducting therefrom the area reserved as an addition to
Tongariro National Park by notice published in New Zealand
Gazette, No. 64, of the 1st June, 1916, page 1827.
Also all that area in the Wellington Land District, contain-
ing by admeasurement 519 acres 1 rood 6 perches, more or
less, being the balance of Sections 1 and 3, Block I, and of
Sections 1 and 2, Block V, Karioi Survey District, after de-
ducting therefrom the area reserved as an addition to Tonga-
riro National Park by notice published in New Zealand
Gazette, No. 64, of the 1st June, 1916, page 1827; and also
the area taken out of the aforesaid Section 2 for railway
water-supply purposes by Proclamation published in New
Zealand Gazette, No. 16, of the 17th February, 1910, page
597.
As the same are more particularly delineated on plan
marked L. and S. X/95/34A, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
bordered red.
Also all that area in the Wellington Land District, contain-
ing by admeasurement 1,594 acres 3 roods 9 perches, more or
less, being Subdivision 5A, Raetihi Block, situated in Block
IV, Makotuku Survey District; as the same is more particu-
larly delineated on plan marked L. and S. X/95/34B, deposited
in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at
Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of
March, 1932.

of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommenda-
tion of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the lands described in the First and Second Schedules
hereto, being portions of provisional State forests set apart
by Proclamations dated the sixteenth day of March, one
thousand nine hundred and twenty, and the twenty-ninth
day of April, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen,
respectively, and gazetted on the twenty-fifth day of March,
one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and the eighth day
of May, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, respectively,
are required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance
with the provisions of the said Act, such lands shall, from and
after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional
State forests, and shall become subject to the provisions of
the Land Act, 1924.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by
admeasurement 117 acres 0 roods 2 perches, more or less,
being part Provisional State Forest No. 71, situated in
Block IV, Tairua Survey District: bounded towards the north
by Section 2, Block IV, Tairua Survey District, and towards
the south-east, south generally, and south-west generally by
part Provisional State Forest No. 71; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. X/92/63A,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey,
at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland Plan S.O.

SECOND SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Westland Land District, containing
by admeasurement 336 acres, more or less, being part of
Provisional State Forest Reserve 1594, Block VI, Mawheraiti
Survey District, and being Section 2934, and all that area
of national-endowment land lying between the said Section
2934 and the Rough River; as the same is delineated on the
plan marked L. and S. X/98/62, deposited in the Head
Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red.

Proclaiming a Road-line laid off over Inuawai Block, Subs. 3,
4, and 6, Block IV, Waimate Survey District, Taranaki
Land District, to be a Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto
were, by an order of the Native Land Court made on
the ninth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and
fifteen, duly laid off as a road-line in pursuance of section
forty-eight of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913:
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in
the public interest that the said road-line should be pro-
claimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has
been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section
fifty-one of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913:
And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention
to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given
by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district
concerned, in terms of section fifteen of the Native Land
Amendment Act, 1914:
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line
should be proclaimed as a public road:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and
exercise of the powers conferred by section four hundred and
eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, do hereby pro-
claim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule
hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a
road:—

2 3 7 Inuawai Block, Sub. 3; coloured yellow.
0 0 5 Inuawai Block, Sub. 4; coloured purple.

Situated in Block IV, Waimate Survey District.
In the Taranaki Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/1959,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2559, and thereon coloured
as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of
March, 1932.
