SCHEDULE.

Areas excepted from the open season wherein imported
game and native game shall not be taken or killed :—

  1. The whole of the Te Araroa Township Sections except
    Section 22.
  2. Mr. H. K. Hovell’s farm and the Whetumatarau Hill.

Open Season for Imported Game and Native Game, License Fees, &c., Waimarino Acclimatization District.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by the Animals
Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, I, Adam Hamilton,
Minister of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby declare the period from the 2nd day of May to the
31st day of July, 1932 (both days inclusive), to be an open
season in the Waimarino Acclimatization District, as described
in New Zealand Gazette No. 17, of 12th March, 1925, at page
753, for the taking or killing of the following imported game
and native game—viz., cock pheasants, Californian quail,
Australian quail, mallard duck, and grey duck—subject to
the following conditions.


CONDITIONS.

  1. LICENSES to take or kill such imported game and native
    game within the said district will be issued to any person on
    payment of the sum of twenty shillings (20s.) each, and the
    Secretary of the Waimarino Acclimatization Society, or any
    person authorized by such Secretary in that behalf, is hereby
    authorized to sign and issue the said licenses.
  2. The number of such imported game and native game
    that may be taken or killed by any one person in any one
    day shall not exceed six head of cock pheasants, ten head of
    mallard duck, and ten head of grey duck.
  3. Shooting may begin not earlier than one hour before
    sunrise and must cease not later than one hour after sunset
    on each and every day during the open season.
  4. No live birds of any species shall be used as decoys, nor
    shall more than twenty-five artificial decoys be used at any
    one time (whether by one or several persons) on any par-
    ticular water within an area of less than 100 yards square.
  5. No person shall use or cause to be used any motor-vehicle
    in connection with the taking or killing of imported game
    or native game: Provided that this condition shall not be
    so construed as to prohibit the use of any motor-vehicle for
    the purpose of travelling either generally or to or from a
    rendezvous.
  6. Any person committing a breach of any of these condi-
    tions is liable, on conviction, to a fine of £20.

Open Season for Native Game, License Fees, &c., Waimate Acclimatization District.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by the Animals
Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, I, Adam Hamilton,
Minister of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby declare the period from the 2nd day of May to the
31st day of July, 1932 (both days inclusive), to be an open
season in the Waimate Acclimatization District, as described
in New Zealand Gazette No. 17, of 12th March, 1925, at page
754, for the taking or killing of the following native game—
viz., grey duck, spoonbill duck, and black swan; and the
period from the 2nd day of May to the 8th day of May, 1932
(both days inclusive), to be an open season in that part of
the said district extending from the Waitaki Bridge to Kurow
for the taking or killing of the following native game—viz.,
paradise duck—subject to the following conditions.


CONDITIONS.

  1. LICENSES to take or kill such native game within the
    said district will be issued to any person on payment of
    the sum of ten shillings (10s.) each; and the Secretary of the
    Waimate Acclimatization Society, or any person authorized
    by such Secretary in that behalf, is hereby authorized to sign
    and issue the said licenses.
  2. The number of such native game that may be taken
    or killed by any one person in any one day shall not exceed
    twenty-five head in all of grey duck, spoonbill duck, black
    swan, and paradise duck: Provided that not more than
    five head of paradise duck may be taken or killed by any one

Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, I, Adam Hamilton,
Minister of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby declare the period from the 2nd day of May to the
31st day of July, 1932 (both days inclusive), to be an open
season in the Waitaki Acclimatization District, as described
in New Zealand Gazette No. 17, of 12th March, 1925, at page
754, except in the areas referred to in the Schedule hereto, for
the taking or killing of the following native game—viz., grey
duck and black swan; and the period from the 2nd day of
May to the 8th day of May, 1932 (both days inclusive), to
be an open season in the localities known as Rhoborough
Downs and Omarama, being part of the said district, for the
taking or killing of the following native game—viz., paradise
duck—subject to the following conditions.


CONDITIONS.

  1. LICENSES to take or kill such native game within the said
    district will be issued to any person on payment of the sum
    of ten shillings (10s.) each; and the Secretary of the Waitaki
    Acclimatization Society, or any person authorized by such
    Secretary in that behalf, is hereby authorized to sign and
    issue the said licenses.
  2. The number of such native game that may be taken
    or killed by any one person in any one day shall not exceed
