Prohibiting Alienation of certain Native Land.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 29th day of February, 1932.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and sixty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, it is provided that, for the purpose of enabling any scheme of consolidation of the interests of owners of Native land into suitable areas to be prepared and carried into effect, the Governor-General may, by Order in Council, prohibit any alienation of Native land in respect of which application has been made by the Native Minister to the Court for the preparation of such a scheme:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority hereinbefore mentioned, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit all alienation of the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto.
