lands, on the rateable value on the basis of the capital value
of rateable properties in the Otahuti Subdivision of the said
district as follows: One penny in the pound on the rateable
value of all lands in the said subdivision in Class (a) in the
said classification list, three-fourths of a penny in the pound
on the rateable value of all lands in the said subdivision
in Class (b) in the said list, and one-half of a penny in the
pound on the rateable value of all lands in the said sub-
division in Class (c) in the said list; and that such special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency
of such loan, and be payable on the first day of September
in each and every year during the currency of such loan,
being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid
off.
I certify that the foregoing resolution was duly passed at
a meeting of the Waimatuku River Board held on Friday,
the 29th January, 1932, and is duly recorded in the Board’s
minutes of that date on pages 37 and 38 of the minute-book.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general
meeting of the above-named company held at Pal-
merston North, on Saturday, the 13th day of February, 1932,
the following extraordinary resolution was passed:—
“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company
that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue
its business, and that it is advisable to wind up same, and
accordingly the company be would up voluntarily under the
Companies Act, 1908, and that Mr. GEORGE GUTHRIE WILSON,
of the firm of Messrs. Birnie, Coombs, and Wilson, be ap-
pointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”

Company, Limited, a creditor of the above-named
company, on the 6th day of February, 1932, preferred unto
the Honourable Alexander Samuel Adams, a Judge of the
Supreme Court: And, upon hearing Mr. Upham of Counsel
for the petitioner, and Amalgamated Drapers, Limited,
not appearing: And upon reading the said petition and the
two affidavits by William Reynolds Carey verifying the
same, the affidavit of John Wakely in support of the petition,
and the affidavit of Herbert Olaf Jacobsen in proof of service
of the said petition and affidavits, the New Zealand Gazette
of the 11th day of February, 1932, the Christchurch Times
newspaper of the 9th day of February, 1932, and the Press
newspaper of the 10th day of February, 1932, each containing
an advertisement of the said petition: This Court doth order
that the said Amalgamated Drapers, Limited, be wound up
by this Court under the provisions of the Companies Act,
1908, and that the costs of and incidental to this order be
taxed, and paid out of the assets of Amalgamated Drapers,
Limited.

existing between the undersigned FREDERICK LITTLE
ALLARDICE and AUGUSTUS NICHOLAS MATHIESON, as Hotel-
keepers, and carried on at Dannevirke, expired by effluxion
of time on the 6th day of December, 1931. All debts due
to and owing by the late firm will be collected and paid
respectively by AUGUSTUS NICHOLAS MATHIESON, who will
continue to carry on the business in his own name.
