IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

IN accordance with section 168, subsection (6), of the Companies Act, 1908, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed by the company :—

“It was, this twelfth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, it having been proved to our satisfaction that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, resolved that it is advisable to wind up the same; that accordingly the company be would up voluntarily; and that ROBERT HENRY SYMINGTON, Accountant, of Christchurch, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.”

NOTICE is hereby given that at a special general meeting of the company held at the registered office of the company, 79 Hereford Street, Christchurch, on Wednesday, the 4th day of February, 1932, and confirmed at a special general meeting of the company held on Thursday, the 18th day of February, 1932, the following special resolution was passed :—

“(1) That the Majestic Indoor Golf, Limited, be wound up voluntarily, and that a Liquidator be appointed at the meeting to wind up the affairs of the company.

THE CHRISTCHURCH DRAINAGE BOARD.

SPECIAL AREA.—ALTERATIONS TO BOUNDARY.

In the matter of the Christchurch District Drainage Amendment Act, 1922, and in the matter of the special area described in a resolution of the Christchurch Drainage Board dated the seventeenth day of April, 1923, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 37, of the twenty-sixth day of April, 1923, and as altered by resolutions of the Christchurch Drainage Board dated the fifteenth day of February, 1927, the twenty-first day of June, 1927, and the sixteenth day of April, 1930, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, Nos. 11, 54, and 37, of the third day of March, 1927, the twenty-eighth day of July, 1927, and the twenty-second day of May, 1930, respectively (known as the Sewerage Extension Loan Special Rating Area).

PURSUANT to the powers vested in it by the Christchurch District Drainage Amendment Act, 1922, section 5, subsection (f), the Christchurch Drainage Board hereby resolves that the boundaries of the said special area, as defined by resolutions of the Board dated the seventeenth day of April, 1923, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 37, of the twenty-sixth day of April, 1923, and as altered by resolutions of the Board dated the fifteenth day of February, 1927, the twenty-first day of June, 1927, and the sixteenth day of April, 1930, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, Nos. 11, 54, and 37, of the third day of March, 1927, the twenty-eighth day of July, 1927, and the twenty-second day of May, 1930, respectively (hereinafter referred to as the special area), shall be further altered so as to include in the said special area all those areas more particularly described in the First and Second Schedules hereto, and further resolves that the said areas shall form part of and be included in the Subdivision (B) of the said special area, and the boundaries of the said Subdivision (B) shall be altered accordingly so as to include therein all those areas more particularly described in the First and Second Schedules hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

All that area in the Canterbury Land District situate in Block 15, Christchurch Survey District, containing by admeasurement 30 perches, and being Lot 2 on plan 8731, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Christchurch, being the whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 427, folio 272.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

All that area in the Christchurch Survey District, being part of R.S. 1148, and as contained within the boundary hereinafter described: Commencing at a point on McGregors Road at the southern boundary of Lot 6, deposit plan 2271, such point being on the boundary of the special area as defined by resolution of the Board bearing date the seventeenth day of April, 1923, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 37, dated the twenty-sixth day of April, 1923; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern side of McGregors Road for a distance of 67 links; thence south-easterly at a right angle for a distance of 178 links; thence northerly to the southern boundary of the said Lot 6, deposit plan 2271; thence westerly along the southern boundary of the said Lot 6, deposit plan 2271, for a distance of 150 links to McGregors Road, at the point of commencement.

WAIMATUKU RIVER BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

Otahuti Subdivision Loan 1931, £2,000.

THAT the Waimatuku River Board, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the River Boards Act, 1908, and the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, hereby resolves as follows:—

That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan known as the Otahuti Subdivision Loan, 1931, of £2,000 (or such part thereof as from time to time may be raised) authorized to be raised under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of deepening, widening, straightening, and otherwise improving the Otahuti Stream by way of Anderson’s Channel, and the purchase or hire of plant and machinery required in connection with the work, hereby makes and levies a special rate on a graduated scale according to the classification of the lands in the Waimatuku River District, as set out in the classification list of the said
