RAGLAN TOWN BOARD.

UNEMPLOYMENT RELIEF LOAN, 1931.—RESOLUTION LEVYING SPECIAL RATE.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the Raglan Town Board held on the first day of February, 1931, the Board resolved as follows :—

“ That the Board, in exercise and pursuance of the powers vested in it by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, and for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Raglan Town Board Relief of Unemployment Loan of £200, 1931, authorized to be raised by the Raglan Town Board under the above-mentioned Act, and the Local Authorities Empowering (Relief of Unemployment) Act, 1926, for the purpose of reimbursing the Board’s General Fund in respect of sums expended in connection with the relief of unemployment and enabling it to continue such relief, hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fifth of one penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the whole of the Raglan Town District, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten (10) years or until the loan is fully paid off.
