ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 22nd day of February, 1932.

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the first day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, and published in the Gazette of the seventh day of that month, the control of the land described in the Schedule to that document, being a reserve for the protection of gannets, was vested in certain persons therein named, who were by the said Order in Council constituted a special Board, by the name of the Cape Kidnapper Bird Sanctuary Board, in pursuance of section two of the Public Reserves and Domains Amendment Act, 1914:

And whereas the period for which control was vested as aforesaid has been extended to the first day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three:

And whereas it is considered desirable that the membership of the said Board should be increased:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby appoint

James Duncan Thomson

to be an additional member of the Cape Kidnapper Bird Sanctuary Board constituted by the Order in Council dated the first day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, hereinbefore referred to.

Changing the Purpose of Portion of a Reserve in Lyndon Survey District, Canterbury Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 22nd day of February, 1932.

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms portion of a reserve duly set apart for public purposes:

And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for recreation purposes:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for public purposes to a reserve for recreation purposes.


SCHEDULE.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—PART HAMNER THERMAL-SPRINGS RESERVE.

ALL that area, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 10 perches, more or less, being part of Reserve No. 3942, Block II, Lyndon Survey District (formerly part of Section 45, Hanmer Plains), and bounded as follows: Towards the west by Reserve No. 4173, 931·3 links; towards the north-east by the Jacks Pass Road, 243·3 links; and again towards the south-east by other part of Reserve No. 3942 aforesaid. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/861a, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Richard Bell,
John Gilbert,
Henry Hamer,
John McFarlane,
George McEnaney,
John Alfred Peever,
Alexander Barnett Spiers, and
Hector Alexander Sinclair,

to be the Dillmans Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the twenty-ninth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Fire Brigade Station, Kumara, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

DILLMANS DOMAIN.—WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.

RESERVE 1013, Block XII, Waimea Survey District: Area, 10 acres 0 roods 25 perches, more or less.

La Trobe Hill, Esquire, Spedding’s Buildings, Hinemoa Street, Rotorua, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
