Notifying Land in the North Auckland Land District subject to the Land for Settlements Act, 1925.

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, I hereby notify that the undermentioned land, being the land known as Te Pua, which has been acquired under the said Act, is subject to the said Act as from the 16th July, 1919.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—TE PUA SETTLEMENT.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 711 acres 0 roods 23 perches, more or less, situated in Blocks XI, XII, XV, and XVI, Omapere Survey District, and being Lots 14 and 15 on a plan deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, numbered 4125, which said parcel of land is portion of Tautahanga Block; also part of Te Pua Block, and the strip of land shown on the said plan 4125, as a road intersecting the said Lots 14, 15, and the said Te Pua Block, and being the whole of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Vol. 249, folio 150: Bounded, commencing at the south-eastern corner of Lot 12 of a subdivision of Tautahanga Block on D.P. 4125, aforesaid; towards the east generally by the western boundaries of Subdivisions A 1 and B of Waimimiti Block, and Orauruwharo No. 1 Block, to and across a public road to the northernmost corner of Kohatu o te Haua Block; again towards the east and towards the south by the western and northern boundaries of Kohatu o te Haua Block aforesaid to the north-eastern corner of Ngaturitahau No. 2 Block; again towards the south by the northern boundaries of Subdivisions Nos. 2 and 1 of Ngataritahau Block aforesaid to a public road; thence by a right line across the said public road and by the northern side of the said public road to the south-eastern corner of that part of Te Pua Block shown on plan 10354, deposited at the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland; thence towards the north-west generally by part of Te Pua Block aforesaid, to and by the Wairoro Stream, to and by the south-eastern boundary of Subdivision G 3 of Taraire Block and by the south-eastern boundaries of Subdivisions B and D of Taraire Block aforesaid to the easternmost corner of the last-mentioned subdivision; thence towards the south-west by the north-eastern boundaries of Subdivisions D and B of Taraire Block aforesaid to the south-western corner of Lot 13 of a subdivision of Tautahanga Block, on plan 4125, deposited as aforesaid; and thence towards the north by the southern boundary of Lot 13 aforesaid to and across a strip of land shown as road on plan 4125, deposited as aforesaid, to and by the southern boundary of Lot 12 on D.P. 4125 aforesaid to the south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned lot, the point of commencement; excepting thereout a public road through part Te Pua Block. As the same is delineated on plan marked L. and S. 21/179, deposited under No. 2542 in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Registers of New Zealand 5½- and 5-per-cent. Inscribed Stock, maturing 1st September, 1937, will be closed from the 15th February to the 1st March (inclusive), for the purpose of the issue of half-yearly interest.

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, I hereby notify that the undermentioned land, being the land known as Motutara Settlement, which was acquired under the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, became subject to the said Act as from the 16th February, 1921.

ALL those areas in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement a total of 2,986 acres 2 roods 16 perches, more or less, as set out in the Schedule hereunder.

As the same are more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. 21/283, deposited under No. 2522, in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
