Special Provision with respect to Canadian Geese in Portion of the North Canterbury Acclimatization District.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
IN pursuance of the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that Canadian Geese (Branta Canadensis) shall be deemed to be included in the Second Schedule of the said Act with respect to that portion of the North Canterbury Acclimatization District lying to the east of the main Christchurch–Dunedin Railway line.
And I do hereby further declare that this Warrant shall come into force on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, and shall expire on the thirty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two; and from and after the aforesaid date of expiry, Canadian geese shall cease to be included in the Second Schedule of the said Act with respect to the said area.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 5th day of February, 1932.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Pipiriki, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.
