  1. The First Schedule (Import Duties) to the principal Order, as heretofore amended, is further amended by deleting the table of Tariff items contained therein and substituting the following table in lieu thereof :—

The Southern Side of Portion of Thomson Street, in the Borough of Green Island, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 22nd day of December, 1931.

Present :

THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Green Island Borough Council on the third day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, viz. :—

“That that the Green Island Borough Council, being a local authority having control of the streets in the Borough of Green Island, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of street known as Thomson Street adjoining part of Sections 97 and 98, Block V, Lower Kaikorai District, as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan attached hereto ” ;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the southern side of the portion of Thomson Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.


SCHEDULE.

THE southern side of all that portion of street situated in the Otago Land District, Borough of Green Island, known as Thomson Street, fronting parts Sections 97 and 98, Block V, Lower Kaikorai Survey District. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 83041, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

“The Taieri County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads in the County of Taieri, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of Thomson Street on the north-western boundary of parts of Sections 98, 99, 100, and 101, Block V, Lower Kaikorai Survey District ” ;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the southern side of the portion of Thomson Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of road.


SCHEDULE.

THE southern side of all that portion of road situated in the Otago Land District, County of Taieri, known as Thomson Street, fronting part Section 98 and Sections 99, 100, and 101, Block V, Lower Kaikorai Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 83225, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
