NOTICE is hereby given that ALLEN'S LIMITED passed the following resolution for the winding-up of the company by entry in its minute-book under date the 16th day of December, 1931:-

“ In pursuance of section 168 of the Companies Act, 1908, it is hereby resolved that it is proved to the satisfaction of the company that it cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and that the company be would up accordingly; and that MESSRS. JOHN SHERWIN BUTLER and MORRIS STEWART SPENCE be appointed Liquidators.”

NOTICE is hereby given that a copy of an order of the Court, dated the eleventh day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one (1931), confirming the reduction of capital of Mayfair Limited from one hundred and fifty thousand pounds (£150,000) to fifty-two thousand five hundred pounds (£52,500), and a minute showing the amount of the capital of the company as altered by the order, and the number of shares into which the capital is divided and the amount of each share, were registered by me on the seventeenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one (1931).

NOTICE is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly Societies has, pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly Societies Act, 1909, by writing under his hand dated this 17th day of December, 1931, cancelled the registry of Karamea Lodge, No. 71, of the Grand Lodge of the North Island of New Zealand of the United Ancient Order of Druids, Friendly Society (Register No. 296/70), held at Karamea, on the ground that the said branch has ceased to exist.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROADS.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, and amendments thereto, by the Waitemata County Council to execute certain public works—viz., construction of a road through Allotments Pt. 174, Parish of Makarau S.W. 110 and M. 110, Parish of Puhoi, 112, S.M.113, S.113, and N.114, Parish of Waiwera, shown on S.O. plan 25825 (Sheet No. 1), and situated in Blocks I and II, Waiwera Survey District—and for the purpose of such public works the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken:

And notice is further given that the plan of the said road and of the land required to be taken is deposited for public inspection at the office of the Waitemata County Council, corner of Shortland and Princes Streets, Auckland :

And notice is also hereby given that all persons affected by the execution of such public works or by the taking of such lands shall, if they have any well-grounded objection to the execution of the said public works or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the County Council Office, Auckland.
