DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore existing between us, the undersigned JOHN PETER MYERS and CHRISTIAN FREDERICK MYERS, in the business of Brickmakers, carried on by us at Waikiwi under the firm of “Myers Bros.,” has been dissolved as from the 1st day of November, 1931. All debts due to and owing by the late firm will be received and paid by the undersigned John Peter Myers, by whom the business will in future be carried on at Waikiwi aforesaid under the style of “Myers Bros.”

THE OAMARU BOROUGH COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR STREET-WIDENING PURPOSES.
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928, and in the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Oamaru Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the widening of portion of Weaver Street, in the Borough of Oamaru—and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the Public Office of the said Council, situate in Thames Street, Oamaru, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Thames Street, Oamaru.
SCHEDULE.
Approximate area of parcel of land required to be taken: 15·9 perches.
Being portion of Section No. 1, Block I, Oamaru Survey District, and of land in Land Transfer deposit plan No. 1388. Situate in the Borough of Oamaru; coloured green. The property of one Edith Ann Pugh.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-up of the above-named company was, on the 7th day of December, 1931, presented to the Honourable Sir Alexander Lawrence Herdman, a Judge of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, in its Hamilton District, at Hamilton, by Vacuum Oil Company Proprietary, Limited, a company duly incorporated in the State of Victoria, Australia, and having its registered office at 90 William Street, in the City of Melbourne, in the said State, and carrying on business in New Zealand at Auckland and elsewhere as oil-merchants, a creditor of the said company, and that such petition is directed to be heard before a Judge of the said Court on the 23rd day of February, 1932, at the Supreme Court, Hamilton, at the hour of 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, or so soon thereafter as counsel can be heard, and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing, either by himself or by his counsel, for that purpose, and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same by the undersigned on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us, the undersigned, carrying on business as Motor-body Builders at Manor Place, Dunedin, under the style or firm of “Murwood and Mills,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 21st day of November, 1931, so far as concerns Sydney George Mills, who retires from the said business. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by James Murwood and William Louden who will continue to carry on the said business under the style of “Murwood and Mills.”

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the company held on the 11th day of December, 1931, the following extraordinary resolution was carried:—
“That it is proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be would up voluntarily; and that CHARLES HENRY BOOTH, of Auckland, Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up at a remuneration to be ascertained by reference to and in accordance with the scale laid down by the New Zealand Society of Accountants for liquidators charges and disbursements.”

BY an order made by His Honour Mr. Justice Smith on Monday, the 14th day of December, 1931, on the petition of Arthur William Watters, of Auckland, Official Liquidator, it was ordered that the said AUCKLAND TOBACCO GROWERS, LIMITED (in Liquidation), be wound up by this honourable Court under the Companies Act, 1908, and its amendments; and it was further ordered that JAMES ALEXANDER GENTLES, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be removed from office of voluntary Liquidator of the said company.

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the shareholders of HAMMER AND TONGS, LTD., held in the registered office of the company, 24 Vulcan Buildings, Vulcan Lane, Auckland, on 2nd December, the following resolution was passed:—
It was resolved: “That the company go into voluntary liquidation, and that MISS IRENE CHIPLIN be appointed Liquidator.”
