IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following resolution was duly passed by the shareholders of the above company this 17th day of December, 1931:—

“It having been proved to our satisfaction that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, it is hereby resolved that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that THEODORE NISBET GIBBS, Accountant, of Christchurch, be appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.”

TAKE notice that the final meeting of the company required by section 230 of the Companies Act, 1908, will be held at the office of the secretary to the Liquidators (Mr. J. T. Hamann), Central Fire Station Buildings, Castle Street, Dunedin, on Wednesday afternoon, the 27th January, 1932, at 4.30 o’clock p.m.

BOROUGH OF OTAHUHU.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Otahuhu Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £4,700, authorized to be raised by the Otahuhu Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of redeeming the outstanding balance of a loan of seven thousand pounds (£7,000) maturing on 1st January, 1932, the said Otahuhu Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of thirty-one-hundred-and-twenty-eight parts of a penny (31/128th) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Otahuhu, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £500, authorized to be raised by the Otahuhu Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of redeeming the outstanding balance of a loan of seven hundred and fifty pounds (£750) maturing on 1st January, 1932, the said Otahuhu Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three one-hundred-and-fifteen parts of a penny (3/115th) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Otahuhu, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,000, authorized to be raised by the Otahuhu Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of redeeming the outstanding balance of a loan of three thousand pounds (£3,000) maturing on 1st January, 1932, the said Otahuhu Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of fifteen one-hundred-and-twenty-eight parts of a penny (15/128th) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Otahuhu, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April, in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of sixteen and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
