Amended Regulations under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 18th day of December, 1931.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twentieth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-third day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, as amended by Orders in Council of the tenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, the first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, and the twenty-fourth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, respectively, regulations were made under the authority of the Acts therein recited, inter alia, prescribing the rates of interest payable on moneys in the Common Fund of the Public Trust Office :
And whereas it is desirable to amend such regulations in the manner hereinafter set forth :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Trust Office Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities in this behalf him enabling, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the regulations set out in the Schedule hereto, and doth order that the regulations hereby made shall come into force on and from the date hereof.
SCHEDULE.
PARAGRAPH 1 of the regulations made by Order in Council dated the 10th day of November, 1925, as amended by Orders in Council of the 1st day of August, 1927, and the 24th day of March, 1928, respectively, is hereby further amended by deleting the words “5½ per cent.” wherever they appear, and by inserting in lieu thereof the words “4¾ per cent.”

Confering on Waitomo County Council certain Powers of Borough Councils with respect to Waterworks.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day of December, 1931.

THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS it is enacted by the Counties Act, 1920, that the Governor-General may, by Order in Council, confer on any County Council such of the powers of Borough Councils with respect to the supply of water for domestic or industrial purposes as he thinks fit, and with such restrictions, modifications, and conditions as he thinks fit, and thereupon that County Council shall have and may exercise the said powers accordingly, pursuant to the tenor of the said Order in Council :
And whereas it is expedient to confer upon the Waitomo County Council certain of the said powers of Borough Councils :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him in that behalf by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby confer on the said Waitomo County Council all the powers with respect to the supply of water for domestic or industrial purposes exercisable by a duly constituted Borough Council under sections eighty-two to eighty-seven, Part XXIV (with the exception of sections two hundred and forty-five and two hundred and forty-seven), and section three hundred and thirty-nine of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and section eleven of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1921–22, and section ten of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1928.

Cancelling the Reservation over a Reserve in Town of Pirogia West, Auckland Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this 15th day of December, 1931.
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation as a reserve for a site for a redoubt over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALLOTMENT 324, Town of Pirogia West (formerly Town of Alexandra West): Area, 5 acres, more or less.

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Hikurangi Parish, North Auckland Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day of December, 1931.

THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart as a site for a public cemetery :
And whereas it is expedient that the reservation over such land shall be changed to quarry purposes :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for a public cemetery to a reserve for quarry purposes.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section four of the Customs Acts Amendment Act, 1931, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby exempt from the primage duty imposed by the aforesaid section of the said Act the classes of goods set out in the Schedule hereto.

Wire netting.
Iron wire of all kinds.
Agricultural seeds (other than grain and pulse) for agricultural seed purposes.
