NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928.
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waikato County
Council proposes to execute certain public works—to
wit, the formation of roads—for which the following lands
require to be taken by the Waikato County Council under
the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, sections 22 and
23, that is to say :-

1. All that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial District
   of Auckland, containing by admeasurement one acre one
   rood eighteen and six-tenths perches (more or less), being
   part of Allotment Number three hundred and twenty-one of
   the Parish of Whangamarino : Bounded towards the north
   by a road ; towards the north-east by other part of the said
   Allotment Number three hundred and twenty-one, two
   hundred and thirty and one-tenth links, three hundred and
   eleven and seven-tenths links, and six hundred and seventy-
   two and two-tenths links ; towards the east by a road one
   hundred and ninety and one-tenth links ; and towards the
   south-west by other part of the said Allotment three hundred
   and twenty-one, eight hundred and thirty-six and four-tenths
   links, three hundred and nine and two-tenths links, and three
   hundred and seventy-two and nine-tenths links.

2. All that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial District
   of Auckland, containing by admeasurement three acres one
   rood two perches (more or less), being part of Allotment
   Number three hundred and twenty-two of the Parish of
   Whangamarino : Bounded towards the north-east by other
   part of the said Allotment Number three hundred and twenty-
   two, two hundred and ninety-seven links, three hundred and
   ninety-two and one-tenth links, four hundred and forty-two
   and four-tenths links, nine hundred and eighty-one and
   two-tenths links, and one thousand three hundred and sixty
   and six-tenths links ; towards the south-east by a road one
   hundred and thirteen and seven-tenths links ; and towards
   the south-west by other part of the said Allotment three
   hundred and twenty-two, forty-six and seven-tenths links,
   one thousand three hundred and sixty-five and two-tenths
   links, nine hundred and thirty-six and five-tenths links, and
   by a road sixty-one and eight-tenths links, fifty and five-
   tenths links, and one thousand and fifty-three and nine-tenths
   links.

3. All that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial District
   of Auckland, containing by admeasurement two acres two
   roods nine perches (more or less), being part of Allotment
   Number two hundred and thirty-seven of the Parish of
   Whangamarino : Bounded towards the north-east by other
   part of the said Allotment two hundred and thirty-seven,
   one thousand three hundred and ninety-five links ; towards
   the south-east by Allotment Number two hundred and
   thirty-eight, one thousand two hundred and thirty-three and
   six-tenths links ; towards the south-west by a road, one
   hundred links ; towards the north-west by other part of
   the said Allotment two hundred and thirty-seven, one thou-
   sand one hundred and eighty-nine links; again towards the
   south-west by other part of the said Allotment two hundred
   and thirty-seven, one thousand two hundred and ninety-five
   and three-tenths links; and again towards the north-west by
   a road one hundred and fourteen links.

A plan of the lands required to be taken as aforesaid is
open for inspection at the office of the Waikato County Council,
Grey Street, Hamilton East. All persons affected are hereby
called upon to set forth in writing any well-founded objections
to the execution of such works or to the taking of such lands,
and to send such writing to the Waikato County Council within
forty days from the date of the first publication of this notice.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership existing
between ALEXANDER HUTLEY and GEORGE RICHARD
HUTLEY, and carrying on business at Awanui, North Auckland,
as Motor-service Proprietors under the firm name of " Hutley's
Motors " has been dissolved by mutual consent.
The business will be carried on under the said firm name of
Alexander Hutley, who will meet all liabilities of the Partner-
ship, and to whom all accounts owing to the Partnership are
payable.

purpose of having an account laid before them, showing the
manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the
property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any
explanation that may be given by the Liquidator, and also
of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in

EKETAHUNA COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

Extract from the Minutes of Proceedings of the Eketahuna
County Council at a Meeting of such Council held on the
12th day of October, 1929.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926,
and of all the other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling,
the Council hereby resolves as follows :-
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of
interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Main Highway
Number 63 Loan, 1929, of £2,000, authorized to be raised by
the Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of reforming and metalling portion of Main Highway Num-
ber 63, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of one twenty-second (1/22nd) of a penny in the pound
on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value)
of all rateable property in the County of Eketahuna, and that
such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during
the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the
thirteenth day of October in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years,
or until the loan is fully paid off.
The common seal of the Eketahuna County was hereto
affixed at the office of and pursuant to a resolution of the
