DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore carried on by DAVID FERNIE, of Chesterhope, Hastings, Sheep-farmer, and WILLIAM RICHMOND, of Hastings, Sheep-farmer, as Farmers, under the name of “Richmond and Fernie,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the twenty-first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one.

The said David Fernie will continue to carry on the said business, and will pay and discharge all accounts of the late Partnership, and will receive and give effectual receipts for all moneys owing to the late Partnership.

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows :—

That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a supplementary loan of £27,000, being portion of the Part Consolidated Loan 1924 Supplementary Loan, 1930, of £30,000, authorized to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Act for waterworks purposes, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fourth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property, comprising the whole of the City of Auckland, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being for a period of thirty-three years, or until the loan is fully paid off, such special rate being in addition to the special rate made and levied for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges in respect of the said Part Consolidated Loan, 1924, of £300,000.

NOTICE TO OWNER OF LAND UNDER THE PUBLIC TRUST OFFICE ACT, 1908 (PART II).—UNCLAIMED LANDS.

TO the owner of that parcel of land, containing 60 acres, more or less, being north part of Allotment 105, Parish of Ruarangi, County of Marsden: Bounded on the north by Allotment 106, 5120 links; on the north-east and east by a road 100 links wide, 63 links, 672 links, 549 links, 298 links, and 155 links; on the south by another part of the said Allotment 105, 6370 links; and on the west by Allotment 84, 1035 links; which said parcel of land was granted to James Montgomerie, of Otahuhu, Bootmaker, by Crown Grant dated 22nd November, 1869: Whereas after due inquiry the owner of the above-described land cannot be found: And whereas the said owner has no known agent or agents in New Zealand: Now, the Public Trustee hereby calls upon such owner, within six months from the date of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette, to establish to the satisfaction of the Public Trustee his title to the said land, and if he does not do so the Public Trustee will exercise with regard to the said land all the powers and authorities granted to him in and by the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its amendments.
