CARBONITE LIMITED.
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and its amendments, and in the matter of CARBONITE LIMITED.
NOTICE is hereby given that the above-mentioned company, by resolution passed the 22nd day of September, 1931, went into voluntary liquidation, and appointed the undersigned as Liquidator.
All persons, firms, companies, or corporations having claims against the above-named company are required to furnish amounts and full particulars thereof to the undersigned on or before the 30th October, 1931.

WAITOMO COUNTY COUNCIL.
INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and the Public Works Act, 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitomo County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the establishing of a quarry and the formation and construction of an access road thereto—and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council, situated in Taupiri Street, Te Kuiti, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice—namely, the 8th day of October, 1931—to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers, Taupiri Street, Te Kuiti.
SCHEDULE.
Approximate area of land required to be taken for quarry: 1 acre 3 roods 29 perches, being portion of Kinohaku East Pt. 4B 3B 2B 2B; edged red.
Approximate area of each of the parcels of the land required to be taken for access road: 31·4 perches, being portion of Kinohaku East Pt. 4B 3B 2B 2B; coloured blue. 1 rood 5 perches, being portion of Pt. Karu-o-te-whenua B 5c 2B 2 West; coloured red.
All in Block XI, Otanake Survey District, and situated in the County of Waitomo, in the Registration District of Auckland; and as the said parcels of land are more particularly delineated on plan No. 26300.

ELECTION OF MEMBERS OF THE PHARMACY BOARD OF NEW ZEALAND.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is my intention to proceed on Wednesday, the llth day of November, 1931, to the election of two registered pharmaceutical chemists of New Zealand to serve as members of the Pharmacy Board of New Zealand, in the place of the members who retire on the 3lst day of December, 1931, and who are eligible for re-election.
Members will require to be elected as follows: Two members for the Central District, to be elected by the registered pharmaceutical chemists residing within the District of Wellington, the boundaries of which are the same as those of the Provincial Districts of Wellington, Hawke’s Bay, Nelson, and Marlborough.

The retiring members are James Charles Burbery, and Herbert James Stanley Rickard, who are eligible for re-election.
Nominations will close at the office of the Registrar, 59 Cambridge Terrace, Wellington, at 4 o’clock p.m., on Wednesday, the 28th day of October, 1931.

I, BERTHA ELIZABETH PHILOMENA NELSON, of No. 7 Graham Street, in the City of Auckland, in New Zealand, Spinster, do hereby give notice that I have assumed and intend henceforth upon all occasions and at all times to sign and use and be called and known by the surname of KEENAN only, in lieu of and in substitution for my present surname of “Nelson.” And I further give notice that such intended change or assumption of name is formally declared and evidenced by deed poll under my hand and seal, dated this day, and intended to be enrolled in the Supreme Court office at Auckland aforesaid; and, further, I hereby declare that this notice is given on behalf of myself, my children, and other my descendants.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto subsisting between us, the undersigned, carrying on the business of Dealers in and Suppliers of Electric Ranges and Electrical Accessories, under the style or firm name of “Dominion Electric Range Co.,” Mercer Street, Wellington, has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 12th day of September, 1931.
The above business will be carried on by the continuing partner, Bernard Abel, at the above address, and all moneys owing to the late Partnership should be paid to Jessie Reid, at the offices of Messieurs Foden and Thompson, Solicitors, Dominion Farmers’ Institute, Wellington.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of SANITAS (WELLINGTON), LIMITED.
An extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company held on 9th October, 1931, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed:
“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily.”
And at the said meeting JOHN LAURENCE ARCUS, of Wellington, Public Accountant, was appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.
