Opening Land in the Auckland Land District for Sale or Selection.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1924, and the amendments thereof, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, having received the report of the Under-Secretary in this behalf, as provided by section one hundred and seventy-six of the said Act, do hereby declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection on Friday, the twentieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, and also that the land mentioned in the said Schedule may, at the option of the applicant, be purchased for cash or on deferred payments, or be selected on renewable lease; and I do hereby also fix the price at which the said land shall be sold, occupied, or leased as that mentioned in the said Schedule hereto, and do hereby declare that the said land shall be sold, occupied, or leased under and subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924, and the amendments thereof.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—THIRD-CLASS LAND.

Kawhia County.—Pirongia Survey District.

SECTION 1, Block VI: Area, 430 acres. Capital value, £175. Deposit on deferred payments, £10; half-yearly instalment on deferred payments, £5 7s. 3d. Renewable lease: Half-yearly rent, £3 10s.

Weighted with £160 for improvements.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 10th day of October, 1931.

Opening Lands in the Auckland Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for selection on renewable lease on Friday, the twentieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, at the rentals mentioned in the said Schedule; and I do also declare that the said lands shall be leased under and subject to the provisions of the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

SECOND-CLASS LAND.

Otorohanga County.—Wharepapa Survey District.

(Exempt from the payment of rent for five years.)

SECTION 7, Block XIV : Area, 701 acres. Capital value, £400. Half-yearly rent, £8.

Weighted with £500 for improvements.

THIRD-CLASS LAND.

Waitomo County.—Orahiri Survey District.

(Exempt from the payment of rent for five years.)

Section 7, Block IX: Area, 572 acres. Capital value, £285. Half-yearly rent, £5 14s.

Weighted with £125 for improvements.

Otorohanga County.—Wharepapa Survey District.

(Exempt from the payment of rent for five years.)

Section 2, Block IX, and Section 3, Block X: Area, 1,193 acres. Capital value, £590. Half-yearly rent, £11 16s.

Weighted with £200 for improvements.

Vesting the Control of a Scenic Reserve in the Hundalee Scenic Reserves Board.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand doth hereby vest the control

of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto (being land reserved under the said Act), in trust, for the purposes of scenery preservation, as from the date of this notice until the twenty-sixth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two (unless previously altered or revoked under the said Act), in the Hundalee Scenic Reserves Board, as constituted by notification dated the twenty-sixth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, and published in the Gazette of the first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven.

SCHEDULE.

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 59, Block V, Mount Fyffe Survey District: Area, 142 acres, more or less.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 8th day of October, 1931.

Establishing Children's Court at Te Kaha.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Child Welfare Act, 1925, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby establish for the purposes of the said Act a Children's Court at Te Kaha; and I do hereby further declare that the said Court shall have jurisdiction within the North Island of New Zealand.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 7th day of October, 1931.
