by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the term of
the license granted for a period of twenty-one years from the
seventeenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and
thirty, by the Gisborne Borough Council to the Gisborne
Sheepfarmers' Frozen Meat and Mercantile Company, Limited,
authorizing the said company to construct and maintain a
private tramway on and across the Kaiti Esplanade Road,
the position of such tramway being more particularly shown
on the plan marked P.W.D. 80540, deposited in the office
of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Cancelling the Reservation over a Reserve in the Town of
Bealey, Block XIV, Bealey Survey District, Canterbury Land
District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 13th day
of January, 1931.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE E. A. RANSOM, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section
seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks
Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby cancel the reservation for police purposes over
the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby
declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is
Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing
by admeasurement l rood 16 perches, more or less, being
Reserve 1852, situated in Block XIV, Bealey Survey District,
within the Bealey Township, and bounded as follows: Towards
wards the north by Reserve 386, 253 links; towards the east
by Reserve 378 (Bealey Township), 105 links; towards the
south by Albion Street, 200 links; and towards the west by
the West Coast Road, 245 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 619A,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Cancelling a Condition as to setting back the Building-line of
Portion of Hankey Street, in the City of Wellington, imposed
by Order in Council under Section 117 of the Public Works
Act, 1905.

of January, 1931.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the Order in
Council dated the third day of December, one thousand nine
hundred and six, and published in the New Zealand Gazette,
No. 102, of the sixth day of the same month, at page 3107,
exempting Hankey Street, in the City of Wellington, from
the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the
Public Works Act, 1905, subject to a condition as to the
building-line, by cancelling the condition as to the building-
line imposed by the said Order in Council in so far as it
affects part Section 691, Town of Wellington. As the same
is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.
80734, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington, and thereon edged green.

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Township of Leeston,
Canterbury Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 13th day of
January, 1931.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE E. A. RANSOM, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is a reserve duly set apart for the Department of
Agriculture:
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the
reservation over such land shall be changed to an addition to
a site for a public school:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon
him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public
Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth
hereby declare that the purpose of the reserve described in
the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for the
Department of Agriculture to a reserve for an addition to a
site for a public school (Leeston).
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by
admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being Reserve Number
3738, situated in the Township of Leeston, and bounded as
follows: Towards the north-west by Pultney Street, 400·0 links;
towards the north-east by D'Arcy Street, 500·0 links; towards
the south-east by Pennington Street, 400·0 links; and again
towards the south-west by Sections 37 and 35 of the Township
of Leeston, 500·0 links. As the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 56529, deposited in
the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington,
and thereon bordered red.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing
by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods, more or less, and being
Reserve 423, situated in Block XIV, Bealey Survey District,
and bounded as follows: Towards the south by the Town
Belt of the Bealey Township, 313·3 links; towards the south-
west by the West Coast Road, 754·4 links; and towards
the north-west and north-east by Reserve 386, 200 links and
995·6 links respectively. As the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 619, deposited in
the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington,
and thereon bordered red.
