on the fourth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, and published in the Gazette on the seventh day of the same month at page 3420 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal regulations”), and doth hereby declare that the amendments hereby made shall come into force on the date of the publication of this Order in Council in the Gazette.

REGULATIONS.

  1. CLAUSE 41 of the principal regulations is hereby revoked, and the following clause substituted therefor:—

  2. In connection with the inspection and quarantine of imported live-stock, the charges set out in the Fifteenth Schedule hereto shall be payable in respect of the services mentioned therein.

  3. The Fifteenth Schedule to the principal regulations is hereby revoked, and the following substituted therefor:—

Scale of Charges in connection with the Inspection and Quarantine of Imported Live-stock.

TRANSPORT of live stock to and from quarantine, payable each way:—

Horses or Cattle.

(Besides the charges and expenses specified above for transport, sustenance and dipping, the costs and expenses of disinfecting stock, or the vessel by which they arrive or on which they are conveyed to the quarantine-station, or the fittings used in connection with such stock, or the effects of their attendants, as well as all other charges and expenses of every description incurred in connection with the importation of foreign or Australasian live-stock, shall be payable by the importer.)

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street in the City of Auckland of a Width of less than 66 ft. but not less than 58 ft.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 17th day of August, 1931.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Auckland City Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street, described in the Schedule hereto, of a width of less than sixty-six feet but not less than fifty-eight feet.

SCHEDULE.

THAT proposed street in the North Auckland Land District, City of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 30 perches, more or less, being portions of Section 16, Suburbs of Auckland, land below mean high-water mark and railway land. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 82136, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Consenting to stopping Portion of Road in Block III, Mahurangi Survey District, Rodney County.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 17th day of August, 1931.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Rodney County Council stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be stopped: 2 acres 0 roods 28 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Allotment 30, Parish of Mahurangi.

Situated in Block III, Mahurangi Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 26263.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 82306, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government roads.
