SCHEDULE.
Those proposed streets in the Wellington Land District,
Borough of Lower Hutt, containing by admeasurement 1 acre
3 roods 10.4 perches, more or less, being portions of Sections
26 and 30, Hutt District, Block XIV, Belmont Survey District.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 81352, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring a Public Highway in No. 1 Highway District to be
a Main Highway.
BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 20th day of
July, 1931.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in him by section three of the Main Highways
Act, 1922, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him
in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth
hereby order and declare that on and after the date of the
gazetting of this Order in Council, the public highway
mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall be a main highway
within the meaning and for the purposes of the Main High-
ways Act, 1922.
SCHEDULE.
Waipoua Forest Road: All that road or portion of road in
the Hobson and Hokianga Counties, commencing at its
junction with the Dargaville-Kaihu via Awakino and
Mamaranui Main Highway at a point opposite the Kaihu
School at the junction of the Aranga and Opanaki Roads,
and proceeding generally in a north-westerly direction through
the Waipoua Forest, and terminating at its junction with the
Waimamaku-Ohaeawai Main Highway at Waimamaku in
Block IX, Waoku Survey District, being a distance of thirty
miles, more or less. As the same is more particularly
delineated on plan marked P.W.D. 72333, deposited in the
office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon
coloured blue.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Aratapu Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 20th day of
July, 1931.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Henry Corkill,
William Corkill,
John Hawthorne McCarroll,
Herbert Stanley Stallworthy, and
Rowland Wordsworth,
to be the Aratapu Domain Board, having control of the
land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby
appoint Monday, the seventh day of September, one thousand
nine hundred and thirty-one, at eight o'clock p.m., as the
time when, and the Aratapu Public Library, as the place where,
the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

Extending Prohibition of Alienation of certain Native Lands
other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 20th day of
July, 1931.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase
Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-
three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the
power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further
period of six months the Order in Council dated the eighteenth
day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, and
gazetted the twenty-first day of August, one thousand nine
hundred and thirty, prohibiting all alienation of the Native
land specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in
favour of the Crown.

Order in Council consenting to the Raising of a Loan of ยฃ800
by the Pigeon Bay Road Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 20th day of
July, 1931.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS the Pigeon Bay Road Board (hereinafter
called "the said local authority") is desirous of
raising the sum of eight hundred pounds by a loan to be known
as "Land Purchase Loan, 1931," for the purpose of purchasing
a parcel of land of about nine and a half acres, being part of
Rural Section No. 1519, with buildings now thereon, for the
purpose of a dwelling for the foreman of the Board and for
grazing the Board's horses:
And whereas the said local authority has complied with the
provisions of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926
(hereinafter called "the said Act"), and it is expedient that
the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council
under the said Act should be given to the raising of the said
loan on the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth:
And whereas the Minister of Finance has given his precedent
consent as required by section one hundred and fourteen of
the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, to the borrowing by the
said local authority of the said sum of eight hundred pounds,
at a rate or rates of interest being such as shall not produce
to the lenders a rate exceeding the rate of five pounds fifteen
shillings per centum per annum:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred on him by the said Act and by section one hundred
and fourteen of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, and of all
other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth
hereby consent to the raising by the said local authority of
the said loan up to the amount of eight hundred pounds for
a term of ten years, at such rate or rates of interest as shall
not produce to the lenders a rate exceeding the rate of five
pounds fifteen shillings per centum per annum, subject to the
condition that the said sum shall be repaid by annual instal-
ments of not less than eighty pounds, and subject to the
further condition that no portion of such instalments or
interest shall be paid out of loan-moneys.
