A PROCLAMATION.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the additional land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is
hereby taken for the Dargaville Branch Railway (Tangowahine
Section).
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 26 perches.
Being portion of part Waiaruhe Block (No. 3203), being part
land on D.P. 635.
Situated in Block V, Maungaru Survey District (Auckland
R.D.). (S.O. 26253.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 81341,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of
July, 1931.

Allocating to the Purposes of a Road Land in Block V, Maungaru
Survey District, taken for a Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every
other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this
behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
the land which is described in the Schedule hereto—and which
was taken for the Dargaville Branch Railway (Tangowahine
Section), and is not now required for such purpose—shall, upon
publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road,
and that such road shall be maintained by the Hobson
County Council in like manner as other public highways are
controlled and maintained by the said Council.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land dealt with: 2 roods
13·9 perches.
Being portion of Railway land.
Situated in Block V, Maungaru Survey District (Auckland
R.D.). (S.O. 26253.)

deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

Altering the Boundaries of the Tauranga Electric-power District.

A PROCLAMATION.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon
me by section three of the Electric-power Boards Act,
1925, and of every other power in anywise enabling me in
that behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby alter the bound-
aries of the Tauranga Electric-power District so as to include
the area described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded by a
line commencing at the intersection of the Paraitc or Mango-
rewa River with a line running due east from Otane-Wainuku
Trig. Station; thence up the middle of the said Mangorewa
River to a point in line with the western boundary of Sec-
tion 7 (Scenic Reserve), Block XIII, Maketu Survey District;
thencc to and along that boundary to the north-western
corner of the said Section 7; thence along the south-eastern
and south-western boundaries of Section 6, Education Reserve,
Block XIII aforesaid, to Matai Road; thence south-westerly
along Matai Road to the south-western boundary of Section
15, Block XVI, Otane-Wainuku Survey District; thence
along that boundary to the Whataroa Stream; thence down
the middle of that stream to its intersection with a line
running due east from Otane-Wainuku Trig. Station; thence
due east along that line to the Mangorewa River, the point
of commencement. As the said area is more particularly
delineated on plan marked P.W.D. 81853, deposited in the
office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and
thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of
July, 1931.

Defining the Middle-line of a further Portion of the South Island
Main Trunk Railway (Portion of Kaikoura Section).

A PROCLAMATION.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the middle-line of a further portion of the South Island
Main Trunk Railway (portion of Kaikoura Section) shall be
that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at a point on the road reserve opposite the
south-eastern corner of Section Pt. 1c of 2, Mangamaunu
Native Block, Block XIV, Puhpuhi Survey District, marked
81 miles (which point is identical with the point marked 81
miles on plan P.W.D. 79635, mentioned in a Proclamation
published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 65, of the eighteenth
day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty),
and proceeding thence in a south-westerly direction generally
for a distance of approximately twelve miles, and passing in,
into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz.: Lot A,
Block XIV, Puhpuhi Survey District; Sections Pt. 2 of 2,
Block XIII, Puhpuhi Survey District; Pt. 3E of 2, 3D of 2,
Pt. 3C of 2, parts Scenic Reserve, and Pt. 4A of 2, Block XV,
Puhpuhi Survey District; Lot 1 (D.P. 757) of Section 5 of 2;
Section 2 of C (Stock Reserve), Lot 2 (D.P. 757) of Section 5
of 2, Block XVI, Kaitarau Survey District; Sections 6 of 2,
Pt. 7 of 2, 9A 2 of 2, 9A 1 of 2, 10B 1 of 2, 10B 2 of 2, 10A
of 2, 11 of 2, and 1 of 2A, Block III, Mt. Fyffe Survey District;
Native Cemetery, Sections 9 of 2A, 10 of 2A, 11 of 2A, 12 of 1A,
16 of 1A, 17 of 1A, 15 of 2A, 1C, T, S, and 60, Block V, Mt. Fyffe
Survey District, and terminating at a point on the southern
bank of the Hapuku River in the said Section 60 marked 93
miles; including all adjoining and intervening places, lands,
reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses;
all in the Marlborough Land District. As the same is
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 82038, deposited in
the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of
July, 1931.
