Child Welfare Amendment Act, 1927.

IN pursuance of the power vested in me by section 6, sub-section (1), of the Child Welfare Amendment Act, 1927, I, Harry Atmore, Minister of Education, do hereby notify that the All Saints' Children's Home, Pascal Street, Palmerston North, has been registered as a Children's Home as from the date hereof.

THE following special order made by the Waitaki County Council on the 26th day of June, 1931, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1928.

SPECIAL ORDER.
THAT, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by the Noxious Weeds Act, 1928, the Waitaki County Council resolves and declares by way of special order that the plant mentioned in the Schedule hereto (being a plant mentioned in the Second Schedule to the said Act) is a noxious weed within the County of Waitaki.

African Boxthorn (Lycium Horridum).
Dumping Duties under Section 11 of the Customs Amendment Act, 1921.
Customs Department, Wellington, 6th July, 1931.
IT is hereby notified for public information that, owing to the abnormal economic conditions at present existing, the Minister of Customs has decided, in the meantime, to cancel the notification respecting dumping duties which was published in the New Zealand Gazette on 6th July, 1922.
In future, the Minister reserves the right until further notice to impose dumping duty (where leviable) under section 11 of the Customs Amendment Act, 1921, on goods of a class or kind produced in New Zealand, immediately upon the importation of the same without further notice.
In the administration of the provisions of the section referred to every endeavour will be made to cause as little inconvenience as possible to importers and others concerned.

The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925.- Notice of Proposed Cancellation of Registration.

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to an application in that behalf made to me by the Dunedin Gardeners and Forest Labourers' Industrial Union of Workers, Registered Number 1060, situated at Dunedin, and in exercise of the powers in this behalf conferred upon me by section 22 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, it is my intention to cancel the registration of that industrial union after the expiration of six weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, unless in the meantime cause is shown to the contrary.
