Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the Fisheries Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke regulation six of the said regulations of the twenty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, and doth make the following regulation in lieu thereof.

REGULATIONS.

  1. (a) No person shall fish for, take, or kill any trout, perch, tench, or other acclimatized fish otherwise than with one rod and line: Provided that a person may use a landing net or gaff for the purpose of securing fish taken with such rod and line.

(b) No person shall use any mollusca, which term includes snails, pipi, fresh or salt-water mussels, oysters, winkles, or the like, or any lures or baits other than natural or artificial flies, insects, worms, or fish.

Changing the Purpose of Portion of a Reserve in Rotorua Borough, Auckland Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of July, 1931.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms portion of a reserve duly set apart as a site for municipal buildings:

And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for a drill-shed site:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for a site for municipal buildings to a reserve for a site for a drill-shed.

Cancelling the Reservation over a Reserve in Block V, Mount Fyffe Survey District, Marlborough Land District.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of July, 1931.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation for river-protection purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

Cancelling the Reservation over Part of a Reserve in Block XV, Stonyhurst Survey District, Canterbury Land District.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation as a reserve for township purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 7 acres 1 rood 8·5 perches, more or less, being part of Reserve Number 159, situated in Block XV, Stonyhurst Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north, east, and south-east by the road reserved along the south bank of the Motunau River and by its continuation south westward along the sea-coast, and again towards the south-west by other part of Reserve Number 159 and the area set aside for new road; save and except from the above-described area the intersecting road and the area set aside for new road. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/908a, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation as a reserve for travelling stock, and for the use of the Department of Agriculture, over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Gisborne Land District, containing by admeasurement 9 acres 0 roods 25·6 perches, more or less, being Section 1, Block XII, Uawa Survey District (Block IV, Town of Tolaga Bay, formerly Township of Buckley): Bounded towards the north by Forster Street, 1356·67 links; towards the east by Ferneaux Street, 672·6 links; towards the south by a public-hospital site reserve, 1367·63 links; and towards the west by Discovery Street, 672·5 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/270, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink.
