A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one.

In the Nelson Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 81586, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 1st day of July, 1931.

Proclaiming under the Stock Act, 1908, a Quarantine-ground for the Detention of Imported Dogs.—(Notice No. Ag. 2981.)

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Stock Act, 1908, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land defined in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and declared to be a quarantine-ground for dogs imported into the said Dominion at the Port of Wellington.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, comprising 16 acres 1 rood 38 perches, more or less, being part of Sections 98A and 102A, Hutt District, Block I, Rimutaka Survey District: Bounded on the north-west by the Wellington-Wairarapa Railway, bearing 64° 29′ distance 1351·7 links; on the north-east by a public road, bearing 146° 13′ distance 1378·9 links; on the south-east by Section 102B, Hutt District, Block I, Rimutaka Survey District, bearing 56° 18′ distance 925·0 links; and on the south-west by other part of Sections 102A and 98A aforesaid by a line bearing 131° 30′ 20″ distance 1625·2 links, to the point of commencement. As the same is delineated on the plan marked Ag. D. No. 1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Agriculture, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of July, 1931.

Amending Regulations for Trout, Perch, and Tench Fishing in the South Canterbury Acclimatization District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of July, 1931.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the thirteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, and published in the Gazette of the sixteenth day of the same month, at page 3178, regulations were made for trout, perch, and tench fishing in the South Canterbury Acclimatization District:
And whereas it is desirable to amend the said regulations in the manner hereinafter described:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by Part II of the Fisheries Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend clause four of the said regulations by revoking the proviso thereto, and doth hereby make the following proviso in lieu thereof.
PROVISO.
PROVIDED that no person shall use worms or creeper for bait when fishing for trout or other acclimatized fish in the Opihi River below the Pleasant Point Traffic-bridge, or any bait other than artificial fly when fishing in Lakes Tui, Hartley, Stony, and Sunday.

WHEREAS by Orders in Council dated the twenty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, and the thirteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, and published in the Gazette of the thirteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, at page 1489, and of the twenty-third day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, at page 122, respectively, regulations were made for trout, perch, or tench fishing in the North Canterbury Acclimatization District:
And whereas it is desirable to amend the said regulations in the manner hereinafter described :
