Revocation of the Reservations of Portions of Permanent State Forests.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Forests Act, 1921–22, and pursuant to a resolution in that behalf passed by both Houses of Parliament, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke (so far only as it relates to the Crown lands described in the First and Second Schedules hereto) the Proclamations of the twenty-sixth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-one, and the twenty-sixth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and four, respectively, whereby the said lands (with certain other land) were set apart as permanent State forests, and declare that the reservations thereby effected are (so far as aforesaid) revoked accordingly.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
Part of State Forest No. 2.
ALL those areas in the North Auckland Land District containing by admeasurement 76 acres 3 roods 38 perches, more or less, and described as follows :—
All that area containing by admeasurement 73 acres 1 rood 16 perches, more or less, situated in Block XII, Takahue Survey District, and bounded generally as follows : Towards the west by a public road ; towards the north by Allotment 150, Maungataniwha Parish ; towards the east and south-east by other portion of State Forest No. 2 (Gazette, 1881, No. 61, page 960), bearing 179° 21′ distance 334·3 links, bearing 212° 00′ distance 1998·0 links, bearing 198° 19′ distance 517·5 links, bearing 206° 01′ distance 351·3 links to Section 12, Block XI, Takahue Survey District ; and towards the south-west by Section 12 aforesaid, bearing 288° 31′ distance 1597·2 links, bearing 355° 38′ distance 634·0 links, bearing 316° 40′ distance 1189·0 links.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 3 acres 2 roods 22 perches, more or less, situated in Block XII, Takahue Survey District, and bounded generally as follows : Towards the south-east by a public road ; towards the south-west by Section 7a, Block XI, Takahue Survey District ; and towards the north-west by a closed road. As the same are more particularly delineated on plan No. 4/7, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (North Auckland plan No. 26233.)
SECOND SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
Part of State Forest No. 2.
All that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 116 acres 2 roods 25 perches, more or less, situated in Block XVI, Takahue Survey District, and bounded generally as follows : Towards the west and north by a public road ; again towards the north by a stream ; towards the east and south by other portion of State Forest No. 2 (Gazette, 1904, No. 8, page 310), bearing 176° 45′ 30″ distance 623·2 links, bearing 111° 45′ distance 479·0 links, bearing 155° 23′ distance 212·2 links, bearing 158° 32′ 30″ distance 745·7 links, bearing 161° 06′ distance 563·4 links, bearing 191° 03′ distance 311·9 links, bearing 164° 21′ distance 487·6 links, bearing 247° 39′ distance 177·7 links, bearing 264° 57′ distance 397·8 links, bearing 292° 00′ distance 206·1 links, bearing 267° 22′ distance 560·1 links, bearing 282° 50′ distance 516·5 links, bearing 242° 06′ distance 290·9 links, bearing 228° 08′ distance 210·0 links ; again towards the south by Section 39, Block I, Whangape Survey District, bearing 270° 00′ distance 2413·7 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 4/6, deposited at the head office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (North Auckland plan 26305.)

Revoking the Setting-apart of Lands for Selection by Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Taranaki Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the second day of June, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and published in the Gazette of the twelfth day of June then instant, setting apart lands for selection by discharged soldiers under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, in so far as it relates to the land in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.—STRATFORD COUNTY.—HUIROA SURVEY DISTRICT.—KOTA SETTLEMENT.
SECTION 6s and Lot 2 of Section 7s, Kota Settlement : Area, 160 acres 1 rood.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of June, 1931.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Takahue Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto ; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.
