Land proclaimed as a Road, and Road closed, in Block XI, Oteramika Hundred, Southland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 1 acre 0 roods 29·6 perches.
Being portion of Section 6; coloured pink.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
ROAD CLOSED.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 1 acre 1 rood 33·9 perches.
Passing through Section 6; coloured green.
All situated in Block XI, Oteramika Hundred (Plan R. 626).
All in the Southland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/1922, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2487, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of May, 1931.

Proclaiming a Road-line laid out through the Rotomahana Parekarangi No. 2 Block, Auckland Land District, to be a Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the seventh day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, duly laid off as a road-line, in pursuance of sections forty-nine and fifty of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913:
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands in terms of section fifty-one of the said Act:
And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned in terms of section fifteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914:
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by sections forty-nine and fifty of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, and in so far as each of these sections is applicable do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 19 acres 1 rood.
Being portion of Rotomahana Parekarangi No. 2 Block.
Situated in Block X, Tarawera Survey District. (Plan 15098.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/1902, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2485, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of May, 1931.

Land set apart as an Endowment for Primary Education.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by subsection nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date hereof the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being a closed road intersecting the endowment for primary education described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be added to the said endowment.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Waitemata County, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 18·7 perches, more or less, being Allotment 468, Paremoremo Parish. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 20/551, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (North Auckland plan 22011.)
SECOND SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Waitemata County, containing by admeasurement 37 acres 3 roods 32 perches, more or less, being part of the eastern portion of Allotment 82, Paremoremo Parish, set aside for educational purposes and apportioned for primary education by notice published in New Zealand Gazette, 1878, No. 126, page 1775, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point being the easternmost corner of Allotment 21, Paremoremo Parish; thence on the east generally by the south-western portion of Allotment 83, Paremoremo Parish, by Allotments 169 and 282, Takapuna Parish; again by Allotment 169 aforesaid, by the crossing of a public road, and again by Allotment 169 aforesaid, bearing 133° 12′ 30″ distance 359·6 links, bearing 133° 16′ 30″ distance 346·0 links, bearing 146° 37′ distance 471·1 links, bearing 236° 36′ distance 1234·9 links, bearing 149° 36′ distance 1471·9 links to a public road; thence on the south generally by that road bearing 276° 55′ 30″ distance 1824·5 links, bearing 281° 45′ distance 1447·5 links, to the western portion of Allotment 82 E.R., Paremoremo Parish; thence on the north-west generally by the western portion of Allotment 82 E.R. aforesaid and by Allotment 21 aforementioned bearing 57° 53′ distance 1597·4 links, bearing 43° 33′ distance 573·8 links, bearing 43° 32″ distance 1442·0 links, to the point of commencement: excepting thereout Allotment 468, Paremoremo Parish, and a public road which intersects the above-described area. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 20/551A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. Allocating Land reserved and taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Street in the Borough of Mount Albert, at Mount Albert.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Kaipara–Waikato Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land for the purposes of a street:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section two hundred and twenty-six of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a street, and that the said street shall be under the control of the Mount Albert Borough Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council,
