A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being part of Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 1660, set apart by Proclamation dated the twenty-ninth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and gazetted on the eighth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, is required for settlement purposes ; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 37 acres 3 roods, more or less, being Section 1538, Block I, Kopara Survey District, and also being part of Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 1660. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 9/2626, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of May, 1931.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a provisional State forest.
SCHEDULE.
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.—WELLINGTON FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
Part of Provisional State Forest No. 55.
ALL that area of Crown land in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 1,606 acres, more or less, situated in Blocks III and IV, Pouatu Survey District, and Block XVI, Waro Survey District, and bounded generally as follows : Towards the north by Section 5, Block III aforesaid, 3567·1 links, and by Provisional State Forest No. 55 (Gazette, No. 32, 25th March, 1920, page 925) ; towards the east by the Tangarakau Stream, by a river bank reserve, 102·6 links, and by Section 3, Block IV aforesaid, 10140·3 links ; towards the south by Section 7, Block IV aforesaid, 9280·9 links, and Section 9, Block III aforesaid, 18492·7 links ; and towards the south-west by Sub. 1 of Section 1, Block III aforesaid, 8809·2 links : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 61/5, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Allocating to the Purposes of a Street Land in the Borough of Upper Hutt taken for a Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto—and which was taken for the Wellington to Masterton railway, and is not now required for such purpose—shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a street, and that such street shall be maintained by the Upper Hutt Borough Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land dealt with : 21·63 perches.
Being railway land, formerly part Section 97.
Situated in Block I, Rimutaka Survey District (Hutt R.D.), (Borough of Upper Hutt). (S.O. 2524.)
In the Wellington Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 81287, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured purple.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a gravel-pit, and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waikato, as from the date hereinafter mentioned ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-fifth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 1 acre 0 roods 35·7 perches.
Being portion of land granted to the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, by grant dated 20th July, 1876.
Situated in Block XV, Hapuakohe Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 25964.)
In the Auckland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 81370, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
