A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 81596, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of May, 1931.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a street the land in the Borough of Upper Hutt described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a street:
3 roods 34·99 perches.
Being portion of Section 97.

Situated in Block I, Rimutaka Survey District (Hutt R.D.), (Borough of Upper Hutt). (S.O. 2524.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 81287, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of May, 1931.

Regulations under the Finance Act, 1931.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 11th day of May, 1931.

Present:
THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by section twelve of the Finance Act, 1931 (hereinafter referred to as "the said Act"), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the following regulations for the purposes of the said Act.

REGULATIONS.

  1. For the purpose of the adjustment of anomalies or for the relief of cases of hardship arising from the operation of the said Act, there is hereby established a Committee, hereinafter referred to as "the Adjustment Committee," consisting of the following persons:—
    (a) The President of the Arbitration Court.
    (b) The Public Service Commissioner.
    (c) The President of the New Zealand Public Service Association (Incorporated).

  2. The President of the Arbitration Court shall be the Chairman of the Adjustment Committee, and shall have a deliberative vote, and in the case of an equality of votes shall have the casting vote also.

  3. In the event of the absence of the President of the Arbitration Court from any meeting of the Adjustment Committee, the members present shall choose one of their number to be Chairman of that Committee.
