Parish aforesaid, set aside for educational purposes and apportioned for primary education by notice published in New Zealand Gazette, 1918, No. 88, page 2306, bounded as follows: Commencing at a point, being the south-eastern corner of Allotment 10, Kawakawa Parish aforesaid; thence on the east by Allotment 8, Kawakawa Parish aforesaid, by the crossing of a public road, again by Allotment 8 aforesaid, and by Allotment 9, Kawakawa Parish aforesaid, bearing 172° 20′ distance 1693·0 links to a public road; thence on the south generally by that road, by the crossing of that road, and again by the same road bearing 303° 51′ distance 247·9 links, bearing 260° 32′ distance 1321·5 links, bearing 246° 47′ distance 102·9 links, bearing 163° 40′ distance 100·8 links; by Allotments 189 and 190, Kawakawa Parish aforesaid, bearing 246° 47′ distance 984·7 links, bearing 281° 41′ distance 726·2 links; by the crossing of a public road and by that road bearing 348° 01′ distance 109·2 links, bearing 281° 41′ distance 574·2 links, bearing 255° 43′ distance 142·6 links to the south-eastern corner of the western portion of Allotment 13, Kawakawa Parish aforesaid; thence on the west by the western portion of Allotment 13 aforesaid, bearing 352° 20′ distance 1442·4 links to Allotment 11, Kawakawa Parish aforesaid; thence on the north by Allotments 11 and 10 aforesaid bearing 82° 20′ distance 3895·0 links to the point of commencement; excepting thereout Allotments 234 and 235, Kawakawa Parish aforesaid, and a public road which intersects the above-described area. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 20/559A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. Revoking the Reservation over a Scenic Reserve in the North Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for scenic purposes:
And whereas the said land is no longer suitable for scenic purposes by reason of the absence of bush of scenic value thereon:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section eight of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, do hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the North Auckland Land District, Whangarei County, containing by admeasurement 188 acres, more or less, being Allotment 391, Waipu Parish. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 53218, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (North Auckland plan 13263.)

Additional Land at Patea taken for the Purposes of the Foxton—New Plymouth Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Foxton—New Plymouth Railway to take further land at Patea, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked I.O. 1367, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue, sepia, and yellow.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Waipara Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 1 rood 27·6 perches.
Being portion of Rural Section 7158; coloured red.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
ROAD CLOSED.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 1 rood 7·2 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Rural Sections 7158, 29955, and Crown land; coloured green.
All situated in Block IV, Waipara Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 944/456.)
All in the Canterbury Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 81459, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
