THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

at the intersection of the western bank of Stony Creek and
the southern boundary of Block II, Kanieri Survey District;
then running 475 links on a bearing of 270°; then
2796·3 links on a bearing of 0° 00′ 30″; then 2708·6 links
on a bearing of 90° 00′ 30″; then 2634·0 links on a bearing
of 180° 00′ 30″; then 2388·4 links on a bearing of 307° 25′
to the western bank of Stony Creek; then south generally
along the western bank of Stony Creek to the point of com-
mencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on
the plan marked L. and S. X/98/56, deposited in the Head
Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and
thereon bordered green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of
April, 1931.

to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests
Act, 1921–22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommenda-
tion of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being part
of Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 1628, set apart by
Proclamation dated the eleventh day of October, one thousand
nine hundred and twenty, and gazetted on the fourteenth
day of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and,
in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land
shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease
to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to
the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Westland Land District, containing by
admeasurement 7 acres 2 roods 34 perches, more or less, being
part Section 1859, Block XVI, Mahinapua Survey District
and being also part of Provisional State Forest No. 1628.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked L. and S. 9/2610, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
bordered green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests
Act, 1921–22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General

that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being part

Proclamation dated the tenth day of August, one thousand
nine hundred and twenty, and gazetted on the twelfth day
of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and, in
accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land
shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease
to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to
the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Westland Land District containing
approximately 700 acres, being part of Provisional State
Forest 1606, Blocks III and VII, Pohaturoa Survey District,
comprising the bed and adjoining flat land of the Pohaturoha
or Upper Grey River, from the mouth of Snowy Creek on the
north to the Provisional State Forest Reserve 1606 boundary
on the south. As the same is more particularly delineated
on the plan marked L. and S. 26/17503, deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington,
and thereon edged green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of
April, 1931.

Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby proclaim as closed the road in Tekapo Survey
District described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ROAD CLOSED.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 2 acres 3 roods
18 perches.
Adjoining Rural Section 33803.
Situated in Block XIV, Tekapo Survey District. (Plan 2197.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 19437,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2479, and thereon coloured
green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
subsection nine of section twelve of the Land Act,
1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that from and after the date hereof the land described in the
First Schedule hereto, being pieces of closed road, and being
land intersecting and adjacent to the endowment for primary
education described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be
deemed to be added to the said endowment.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Bay of
Islands County, situate in Block XII, Kawakawa Survey
District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 21 perches,
more or less, being Allotment 234, Kawakawa Parish.
Also all that area in the North Auckland Land District,
Bay of Islands County, situate in Block XII, Kawakawa
Survey District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods
22 perches, more or less, being Allotment 235, Kawakawa
Parish.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked L. and S. 20/559, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
edged red. (North Auckland plan 26105.)
SECOND SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Bay of
Islands County, situate in Block XII, Kawakawa Survey
District, containing by admeasurement 58 acres 3 roods
25·21 perches, more or less, being Allotment Part 12, and
the eastern portion of Allotment 13, Kawakawa Parish, set
aside for educational purposes, and apportioned for primary
education by notice published in New Zealand Gazette, 1878,
No. 126, page 1773, and Allotments 225 and 226, Kawakawa
