Land proclaimed as Roads, Road closed, and Land taken,
in Block VI, Purua Survey District, North Auckland Land
District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron
Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby proclaim as roads the land in Purua Survey Dis-
trict described in the First Schedule hereto; and do also
hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second
Schedule hereto; and I do also hereby take the land described
in the Third Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection
ten of the said section twelve.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
LAND PROCLAIMED AS ROADS.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as
roads :β
A. R. P. Being Portion of
0 1 13 Allotment S.W. 3, Ruatangata Parish ;
coloured blue.
7 3 16 National endowment ; coloured red.
1 2 21 National endowment ; coloured red.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
ROAD CLOSED.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed : 5 acres 3 roods
33 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Allotments 147 and 148, Rua-
tangata Parish, and national endowment and Crown land ;
coloured green.
THIRD SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 38 perches.
Being portion of Allotment S.W. 3, Ruatangata Parish ;
coloured blue.
All situated in Block VI, Purua Survey District. (S.O.
plan 25459.)

All in the North Auckland Land District; as the same are
more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S.
16/1629F, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2480, and thereon
coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of
April, 1931.

Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject
to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests
Act, 1921β22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommenda-
tion of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being part
of Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 1622, set apart by
Proclamation dated the eleventh day of October, one thousand
nine hundred and twenty, and gazetted on the fourteenth
day of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and,
in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land
shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease
to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to
the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Westland Land District, containing by
admeasurement 57 acres, more or less, being part of Provisional
State Forest Reserve No. 1622, situated in Block II, Kanieri
Survey District, bounded generally as follows: Commencing
