HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the Order in Council dated the eighteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twentieth day of the same month at page 798, authorizing the Maniototo Hospital Board to use water from the Capburn Creek, the Pigburn Creek, Main Gully, Hamilton, Long Gully, and Tailings Gully for the purpose of generating electricity and to erect and use electric lines within Block I, Rock and Pillar Survey District, by deleting from line 5 of clause 7 thereof, the figures and symbols “£10,” substituting therefor the figures and symbols “£2 10s.”

Boundaries of Borough of Masterton and County of Masterton altered.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of March, 1931.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS in pursuance of section one hundred and thirty-two of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, a petition was presented to the Governor-General praying that a certain area be excluded from the Borough of Masterton and included in the County of Masterton :
And whereas it is deemed expedient to exclude from the Borough of Masterton and include in the County of Masterton the area described in the Schedule hereto, and to declare to what riding of the said county the area so included therein shall be added :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the said Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that as on and from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be excluded from the Borough of Masterton and included in the County of Masterton ; and, with the like advice and consent, doth hereby further declare that the area included as aforesaid in the County of Masterton shall be added to and form part of the Opaki Riding of that county.
SCHEDULE.
AREA EXCLUDED FROM BOROUGH OF MASTERTON AND INCLUDED IN COUNTY OF MASTERTON.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, being part of Sections 65 and 64, Masterton Small Farms Settlement,
bounded by a line commencing at the north-eastern corner of Section 65, Masterton Small Farms Settlement ; thence southerly along the eastern boundaries of Sections 65 and 64, Masterton Small Farms Settlement aforesaid, to a point 200 links northward from the south-eastern corner of aforesaid Section 64 ; thence north-westerly along a line parallel to and distant 200 links from the south-western boundary of aforesaid Section 64 for a distance of 500 links ; thence along a right line to a point on the south-western boundary of Section 64, Masterton Small Farms Settlement ; distant 500 links from its south-eastern corner ; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundary of said Section 64 to the eastern boundary of the Wellington-Wairarapa Railway ; thence north-easterly along that railway to the north-eastern boundary of Section 65 aforesaid ; thence south-easterly along that boundary to the north-eastern corner of Section 65 aforesaid, the place of commencement.

Boundaries of Kahutara River District altered, County of Featherston.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of March, 1931.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Kahutara River Board (hereinafter referred to as “the said Board”), being of the opinion that certain land situated in the County of Featherston and not included in the Kahutara River District (hereinafter referred to as “the said district”), have derived or may derive benefit from the operations carried out or proposed to be carried out by the said Board, did, in accordance with the provisions of section four of the River Boards Amendment Act, 1913 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), present a petition to His Excellency the Governor-General, praying that the boundaries of the said district might be altered so as to include such land in the said district :
And whereas in respect thereof a Commission has been appointed to inquire and report as to the several matters mentioned in subsection three of section four of the said Act :
And whereas the Commission so appointed has reported that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being part of the County of Featherston, should be included in the said district :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by section four of the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the boundaries of the said district are hereby altered so as to include in the said district the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and that the boundaries of the said district shall be those set forth in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
AREA INCLUDED IN KAHUTARA RIVER DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point on the north-eastern boundary of Section 4, Block XV, Wairarapa Survey District, distant 506·3 links from its south-eastern corner ; thence north-westerly along that boundary for a distance of 290·6 links ; thence along right lines bearing 86° 20′ distance 894·6 links, bearing 324° 25′ 30″ distance 515·1 links, bearing 323°10′ distance 607·4 links, bearing 47° 51′ distance 100·7 links, bearing 143° 17′ distance 606·9 links, bearing 144° 28′ distance 652·5 links, bearing 183° 27′ distance 109·7 links, bearing 211° 58′ distance 117·9 links, bearing 282° 01′ distance 481·1 links, and bearing 268° 50′ 30″ distance 398·7 links, to the point of commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost corner of Section 32, Block XI, Wairarapa Survey District, and proceeding thence south-easterly along the Mangatete Stream and the eastern boundary of Section 2, Block XI aforesaid, to and across the Kahutara Road to the north-eastern corner of Section 3, Block XV ; thence north-easterly along the southern side of the said road, 850 links ; thence by lines bearing 142° distance 1200 links, bearing 159° distance 1900 links, and bearing 218°
