Land proclaimed as ceasing to be set apart as National-
endowment Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section three hundred and two of the
Land Act, 1924, as amended by section ten of the
Land Laws Amendment Act, 1926, it is enacted that on the
disposal of any national-endowment land by way of sale, or
on the acquisition of the fee-simple of any such land, the
Governor-General may be Proclamation declare that such
land shall, as from a date to be specified in the Proclamation,
cease to be national-endowment land :

And whereas the fee-simple of the land described in the
Schedule hereto (being land heretofore held under the tenure
specified in the said Schedule) has been acquired, it is expedient
that the said land should cease to be national-endowment
land :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
and authorities conferred upon me by the aforesaid section
three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles,
Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after
the date specified in the Schedule hereto the land described
in the said Schedule which was set apart as national-
endowment land under the provisions of section two hundred
and fifty-eight of the Land Act, 1908, ceased to be national-
endowment land.

SCHEDULE.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—NATIONAL ENDOWMENT.

SECTIONS 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Block VII, and Sections 2, 4, 5,
Block VIII, Waipori Survey District : Area, 1,967 acres
and 32 perches. Tenure: Small grazing-run lease. Date:
16th January, 1931.

Revoking the Setting-apart of Land for Selection by Discharged
Soldiers, under Special Tenure, in the North Auckland Land
District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settle-
ment Act, 1915, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Pro-

clamation made on the seventeenth day of January, one
thousand nine hundred and twenty, and published in the
Gazette of the twenty-third day of January then instant,
setting apart lands for selection by discharged soldiers under
the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, in so far as it
relates to the land in the Schedule hereto.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—BAY OF ISLANDS
COUNTY.—SETTLEMENT LAND.

SECTION 1s, Puketi Settlement : Area, 1,185 acres l rood.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-

under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of

Allocating Land reserved and taken for a Railway to the Purposes
of a Street in the City of Auckland, at Auckland.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
forms part of land taken for the purposes of the
Kaipara-Waikato Railway, and it is considered desirable to
allocate such land to the purposes of a street :

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and
exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section
two hundred and twenty-six of the Public Works Act, 1928,
and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling
me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the
land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publica-
tion hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a street, and
that the said street shall be under the control of the Auckland
City Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in
like manner as other public highways are controlled and
maintained by the said Council.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use,
convenience, and enjoyment of the Hurunui-Waitaki
Railway to take further land at Addington, in addition to
land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway,
and to take land for street-diversion in connection therewith :

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections
thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works
Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in
anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
