RADCLIFFE'S LIMITED.
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the
matter of RADCLIFFE'S LIMITED.
AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of
the above-named company, duly convened and held at
the office of A. Maurice Anderson, Huddart Parker Buildings,
Wellington, on 7th March, 1931, the following extraordinary
resolution was duly passed :—
“ That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting
that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue
its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and
accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily, and
that A. MAURICE ANDERSON, of Wellington, Public Accountant,
be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such
winding-up.”

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter
of RADCLIFFE'S LIMITED (in Liquidation).
THE creditors of the above-named company are required
on or before the 14th April, 1931, to send their names
and addresses and particulars of their debts or claims to the
undersigned, the Liquidator of the said company, or if required
by notice in writing from the Liquidator, to come in and prove
such debts or claims, or in default thereof they will be excluded
from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts
are proved.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that an entry in the minute-book
of the above-named company, duly signed as required
by the Companies Act, 1908, by the shareholders, and dated
the 9th day of March, 1931, reads as follows :—
“ That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that
W. CARRUTHERS be appointed the Liquidator at the renumera-
tion of five per cent. on the money collected for the purposes
of the winding-up.”

NOTICE is hereby given that by extraordinary resolution
made on the 14th day of March, 1931, Geo. Castle and
Williamson, Ltd., went into voluntary liquidation, and
appointed me, GUSTAV JAMES JULIUS FEIL, of Wellington,
Public Accountant, Liquidator, for the purpose of such
winding-up.

THE BUDGET, LIMITED.
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
OWING to the death of the late Mr. J. B. Smith, the
holder of a half interest in the above company, it has
been decided that the company go into voluntary liquidation.
The business of the company will be carried on as usual
by Mr. George Davis (the owner of the other half interest)
at the same address, in conjunction with Mr. Payton, who
has for many years been associated with the company. For
this purpose a new company will be incorporated under the
same name.
Notice is hereby given that at extraordinary general meet-
ings of the company held at Dunedin on the 2nd day of Feb-
ruary, 1931, and the 14th day of February, 1931, respectively,

it was resolved that the company go into voluntary liquidation
and that ALFRED HOWORTH, of Dunedin, Accountant, be
appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such liquidation.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter
of J. O. WILLIAMS COMPANY, LIMITED (Private Company).
NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of members of
the above-named company held on the 16th day of
March, 1931, it was resolved :-
“ That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that
ARTHUR BUSHELL, of Ashburton, Accountant, be appointed
Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.”
Particulars of all claims against the company must be
forwarded to the Liquidator at his address, Tancred Street,
Ashburton (Box 73), on or before the 30th day of March, 1931,
otherwise the same will not be recognized.

WAIPA WA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the
Waipawa County Council hereby resolves as follows :-
“ That, for the purpose of providing interest, sinking fund,
and also the other charges on a loan of one thousand pounds
(£1,000) to be known as “ The Pendle Hill Suspension Bridge
Loan, 1930,” authorized to be raised by the Waipawa County
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
building a suspension bridge over the Waipawa River at
Pendle Hill, Wakarara, the said Waipawa County hereby
makes and levies a special rate of five and three-eighths of a
penny (53d.) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value
of all rateable property within the Pendle Hill Special-rating
Area, comprising Sections 49 and 92, Block XIV, Wakarara
Survey District, Section part 5, Block XV, Makaretu Survey
District, Sections 6 and 89, Block XIV, Wakarara Survey
District, respectively; and that such special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and
shall be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of
twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

BOROUGH OF NEW LYNN.
PURSUANT to section 42 of the Rating Act, 1925, I
hereby give public notice that at a poll of ratepayers
of the Borough of New Lynn, taken on the llth day of March,
1931, on the proposal that the system of rating in the said
borough on the unimproved value basis be rescinded, the
number of votes recorded for the proposal was 368; the
number of votes recorded against the proposal was 456.
I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore
subsisting between CHARLES WHITEMAN, FRANCIS
WHITEMAN, ALBERT GEORGE WHITEMAN, FREDERICK ARTHUR
WHITEMAN, and PERCIVAL WHITEMAN, who carried on busi-
ness at Upper Hutt as Farmers under the name of “ Whiteman
Brothers,” was dissolved on the 1st day of April, 1930.
All moneys owing to the Partnership are to be paid to
Messrs. Mazengarb, Hay, and Macalister, Solicitors, 21
Brandon Street, Wellington.
All accounts for debts owing by the Partnership must
be rendered to Messrs. Mazengarb, Hay, and Macalister
within one month of the date hereof.
