THE north-western side of all that portion of street, situated in the Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, known as Beaumont Road, fronting Lot 1, L.T.P. 601, being part Block X, Belleknowes Estate. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 80833, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured brown and edged red.

The Northern Side of Portion of Durie Street, in the City of Wanganui, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 30th day of January, 1931.

THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Wanganui City Council on the twenty-fifth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, viz. :—
“ The Wanganui City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Wanganui, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of the street known as Durie Street, adjoining Lot 83 on deeds plan No. 41, a distance of 146.57 links ” ; subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the northern side of the portion of Durie Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE.
THE northern side of all that portion of street situated in the Wellington Land District, City of Wanganui, known as Durie Street, fronting Lot 83, deeds plan 41, being part Section 43, Left Bank Wanganui River, Block V, Ikitara Survey District. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 80776, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

The South-eastern Side of Portion of Ohio Street, in the Borough of Martinborough, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency .the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Martinborough Borough Council on the tenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, viz. :—
“ The Martinborough Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the Borough of Martinborough, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of street known as Ohio Street, adjoining that parcel of land containing twenty perches (20 p.), being part Lots 348 and 349 on deposited plan Number 248, Township of Martinborough, and being the whole of the land in Certificate of Title, Vol. 158, folio 234 ”;
such portion of street being described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
THE south-eastern side of all that portion of street situated in the Wellington Land District, Borough of Martinborough, known as Ohio Street, fronting Section 348 and part Section 349, D.P. 248, being part Section 1, Wharekaka Block, Block IX, Huangarua Survey District. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 80635, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

The Eastern Side generally of Portion of May’s (Grey) Street, in the Borough of Devonport, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Devonport Borough Council on the twenty-seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, viz. :—
“ That the Devonport Borough Council, being the local authority having control of streets in the Borough of Devonport, hereby declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to that portion of May’s (Grey) Street fronting Lots 23, 24, 25, 26, and part 27 of Allotment 19, Section 2, Parish of Takapuna ” ;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the eastern side generally of the portion of May’s Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE.
THE eastern side generally of all that portion of street, situated in the North Auckland Land District, Borough of Devonport, known as May’s Street, fronting Lots 23, 24, 25, 26, and part Lot 27 of Allotment 19, Section 2, Parish of Takapuna. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 69655, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.

Amendment to the Regulations under the Public Service Act, 1912.
I N pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred on him by the Public Service Act, 1912 (hereinafter called “ the said Act ”), the Commissioner, with the approval of the Governor-General in Council, doth hereby, in respect of the regulations made under the said Act on the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, and the amendments thereof made from time to time under the provisions of the said Act, make the amendment shown in the Schedule hereto. Such amendment shall have effect on and from the date of publication thereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
SCHEDULE.
REGULATION No. 110 (5) is hereby amended by adding thereto the following subclause :—
“(b) Where an officer travelling by sea is provided with sleeping-accommodation, and the journey by sea does not occupy more than twenty-four hours, the officer is required to reduce his claim for travelling-allowance by one-fourth of one day’s scale rate. If special accommodation is used, the additional cost above that of ordinary accommodation must be borne by the officer.”
