SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District containing by
admeasurement 2 acres 3 roods 10 perches, more or less, and
being Reserve Number 140 situated in Block X, Pigeon Bay
Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the east
by a public road, 337·42, 212·7, 270·9, 334·8, and 148·3 links;
and again towards the south and north-west by the high-water
mark of Pigeon Bay: As the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/899, deposited in
the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at
Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Changing the Purpose of Reserves in Block II, Karewa Native
Township, Auckland Land District.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of
February, 1930.
Present:
WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto
are reserves duly set apart for public buildings:
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation
over such lands shall be changed to reserves for camping
purposes:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon
him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public
Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby
declare that the purpose of the reserves described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby changed from reserves for public
buildings to reserves for camping purposes.

WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto
are reserves duly set apart for plantation purposes:
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation
over such lands shall be changed to reserves for recreation
purposes:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in
exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him
by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves,
Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare
that the purpose of the reserves described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby changed from reserves for plantation purposes
to reserves for recreation purposes.
SCHEDULE.
ALL those areas in the North Auckland Land District, Manukau
County, containing together 2 acres 2 roods 17·2 perches,
more or less, being Lots 145 and 146 on D.P. 16751, and
being part of a subdivision of Allotments 69 and 72, Parish of
Pakuranga. As the same are more particularly delineated on
the plan marked L. and S. 1/906, deposited in the Head
Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington,
and thereon edged red.

other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent
to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for
the purposes of a public school.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land permitted to be
taken: 1 acre 3 roods 24·9 perches.
Being portion of Rural Section 154 (Canterbury R.D.).

to the Matakaoa County Council stopping the road described
in the Schedule hereto.
