HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Palmerston North Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed streets described in the Schedule hereto of a width of less than sixty-six feet but not less than fifty feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the said streets within a distance of thirty-five feet from the centre-lines of the said streets.
SCHEDULE.
THOSE proposed streets in the Wellington Land District, Borough of Palmerston North, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 1 rood 26·5 perches, more or less, being portion of Lots 9, 9A, and 10A, of part Sections 241 and 242, Town of Palmerston North. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 77066, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Authorizing the Exchange of a Recreation Reserve in Block IV, Tiffin Survey District, Wellington Land District, for other Land.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of February, 1930.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the First Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for recreation purposes: And whereas it is expedient that the said land should be exchanged for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, which the Governor-General deems of equal value and more suitable for the purposes of the reserve :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section eight of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto may be exchanged for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF RESERVE AUTHORIZED TO BE EXCHANGED.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, situated in the County of Masterton, containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 1 perch, more or less, being portion of Sections 47 and 48, Manaia Block Registration District, Block IV, Tiffin Survey District, and being Lot 15 on the plan of the Town of Masterton Extension No. 8 : As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 25/358A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured purple.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF LAND TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE THEREFOR.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, situated in the County of Masterton, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods 27·6 perches, more or less, being portion of Section 47, Manaia Block Registration District, Block IV, Tiffin Survey District, and being Lot 20 on provisional D.P. 9250 : As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 25/358A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
