Land set apart as an Endowment for Primary Education.

A PROCLAMATION.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by subsection nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date hereof the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being a piece of closed road, and being land passing through the endowment for primary education described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be added to the said endowment.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 27 perches, more or less, being closed road Section 1350R, Block IV, Otokia Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-east by part Section 20, Block IV, Otokia Survey District, 412.6 links; towards the south-west by a public road, 131.6 links; again towards the south-west by said part Section 20, 264.4 links; towards the north-west by a public road, 56.6 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 20/525, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 21 acres 2 roods 27 perches, more or less, being part Section 20, Block IV, Otokia Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-east by a public road and Sections 1 of 21 and 53, Block IV, Otokia Survey District, 2370 links; towards the south-east by Sections 19 and 25, 1004 links; towards the south-west by Section 18, 2450 links; and towards the north-west by a public road, 1080 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less, and excepting three intersecting public roads, a deduction for which has been made from the area. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 20/525, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of December, 1930.

Land in the Marlborough Land District proclaimed as ceasing to be set apart as National-endowment Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, as amended by section ten of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1926, it is enacted that on the disposal of any national-endowment land by way of sale, or on the acquisition of the fee-simple of any such land, the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare that such land shall, as from a date to be specified in the Proclamation, cease to be national-endowment land:
And whereas the fee-simple of the land described in the Schedule hereto (being land heretofore held on renewable lease) has been acquired, and it is expedient that the said land should cease to be national-endowment land:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the aforesaid section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the twentieth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, the land described in the Schedule hereto, which was set apart as national-endowment land under the provisions of section two hundred and fifty-eight of the Land Act, 1908, ceased to be national-endowment land.
SCHEDULE.
MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.โNATIONAL ENDOWMENT.
Lot 1 of Section 12, Block VII, Linkwater Survey District: Area, 5 acres 3 roods 30 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of December, 1930.

Revoking the Reservation over Portion of a Scenic Reserve in the Marlborough Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms portion of a reserve duly set apart for scenic purposes:
And whereas the said land is no longer suitable for scenic purposes by reason of the absence of bush of scenic value thereon:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section eight of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, do hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement 8 acres 1 rood 23 perches, being originally part of Section 3c of 2, Mangamaunu Native Block, situated in Block XV, Puhi Puhi Survey District, and being the land shown as Lot A of plan 1546/76, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, at Blenheim.
Also all that area in the said Land District, containing by admeasurement 7.6 perches, being originally part of the above-described Native block, and being the land shown as Lot B on the said plan 1546/76.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of December, 1930.

Land set apart for Disposal by way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the North Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
In pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be, and the same is hereby, set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALLOTMENT 197, Waiuku West Parish: Area, 57 acres 0 roods 8 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of December, 1930.
