Declaring certain Land in Samoa to be free from Native Title.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereunder was Native land in Samoa within the meaning of the Samoa Act, 1921, and whereas the freehold of the said land has been acquired from the Native owners by His Majesty the King in right of the Government of New Zealand, and the purchase-price for the said land has been paid to the Native owners:
And whereas by section two hundred and eighty-two of the Samoa Act, 1921, it is provided that a Proclamation by the Governor-General that any land vested in the Crown is free from Native title shall in all Courts and in all proceedings be accepted as conclusive proof of the fact so proclaimed:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section 282 of the Samoa Act, 1921, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto which is vested in the Crown is free from Native title.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land of an area of 3Β½ acres, more or less, situate at Magia, in the District of Aana, Island of Upolu, and described as parcel 65, Flur XV, as the same is shown on Plan No. 21 U/XV S, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Apia.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of December, 1930.
