Notifying Land in Auckland Land District to be subject to the Land for Settlements Act, 1925.

Department of Lands and Survey,
Wellington, 1st October, 1930.

P URSUANT to the provisions of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, I hereby notify that the undermentioned land, being the land known as Tangao Settlement, which has been acquired under the said Act, is subject to the said Act as from 9th September, 1930.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—TANGAO SETTLEMENT.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 221 acres 0 roods 9 perches, more or less, being Lot 2 on plan 21817, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, and being portion of Allotment 279, Whangamarino Parish, situated in the Piako and Hapuakohe Survey Districts: Bounded towards the north-west by Lot 1 on plan 21817, deposited as aforesaid, 2802 and 8444·9 links; towards the north-east by a public road, 1372 and 261·9 links; towards the south-east and north-east by Lot 3 on plan 21817, deposited as aforesaid, 55·9, 6645·8, 471·3, 1470·7, 192·5, and 1449·1 links respectively; again towards the south-east by Allotment 268, Whangamarino Parish, 2235·1 links; and towards the south-west by Allotment 441, Whangamarino Parish, 3682·4 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 26/12262, deposited under No. 2439, in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

N OTICE is hereby given that His Excellency the Governor-General has, in pursuance of section 54 of the Land Act, 1924, approved of meetings of the Taranaki Land Board being held at the District Lands and Survey Office, New Plymouth, at 9.30 o’clock a.m. on Wednesday, 28th January, 25th February, 25th March, 22nd April, 27th May, 24th June, 22nd July, 26th August, 23rd September, 28th October, 25th November, and 16th December during the year 1931.

It is particularly requested that any change of residence, or any inaccuracy in the list, whether by omission or otherwise, be communicated without delay to the Secretary, Survey Board, Government Buildings, Wellington.

The dagger (†) signifies that the surveyor holds a Land Transfer license from the Surveyor-General.
