WILSON AND ROTHERY, LIMITED.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of WILSON AND ROTHERY, LIMITED.

NOTICE is hereby given that under sections 168 (b) and 220 (b) of the Companies Act, 1908, the above-named company, on the 30th day of September, 1930, passed the following resolution:—

“That it is desirable that the company be reconstructed, and with a view to carrying out such reconstruction that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that LEONARD KNIGHT, of Auckland, Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator.”

The undertaking and business of the said company has been taken over, and is now being carried on by WILSON ROTHERY, LIMITED, whose registered office is at the corner of Lunn Avenue and Panmure Road, Panmure. Liability for all claims against the company now in liquidation has been assumed by Wilson Rothery, Limited.

IN LIQUIDATION.

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of sections 230 and 252 of the Companies Act, 1908, that a general meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held at 193 Princes Street (Grand Picture Palace Buildings), Dunedin, on Tuesday, the 28th day of October, 1930, at 5 o’clock p.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidators; and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidators shall be disposed of.

MATAMATA COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Matamata County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £500, authorized to be raised by the Matamata County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of contributing towards the cost of forming portion of Waiteti Road, the said Matamata County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of eleven-sixteenths of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of capital value) of all rateable property of the Waiteti Special-rating Area, comprising all that area in Blocks IV, VII, VIII, and XII, Maungatautari Survey District, in the County of Matamata, included within the following boundaries: Commencing at the north-eastern corner of Section 7, Horahora Block; towards the east generally by the Waikato River to the Waiteti Stream; towards the south by the Waiteti Stream to the Waipa County boundary; towards the south-west by the said Waipa County boundary to the south-eastern boundary of Maungatautari 3A 5E; towards the north-west by the said Maungatautari 3A 5E to the boundary of Maungatautari 3A 5C; towards the south-east and again towards the north-west by part Lot 1 of Maungatautari 3A 5C and Maungatautari 3A 5D; towards the south-west by Maungatautari 3A 5D, 3A 5E, and 3A 5F; towards the north-west generally by Lot 1 of Lot 2, Lot 1 of Lot 4, and Lot 3 of Section 7, Horahora Block, to the south-eastern boundary of Lot 3 of Lots 5 and 11, Horahora Block; towards the north-west by the said Lot 3, and towards the north by the said Lot 3 and by Section 6, Horahora Block, to the point of commencement; and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 17th day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

EGMONT COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Egmont County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £500, authorized to be raised by the Egmont County Council under the above-mentioned Act for forming, draining, culverting, and metalling portions of the Newall Road between the Main South and Warea Roads, the Egmont County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of nine-thirteenths of one penny (9/13th pence) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Newall Road Special-rating District, as described in the Schedule hereunder, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

MAURICEVILLE COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

Extract from the minutes of proceedings of the Mauriceville County Council at a meeting of such Council held on the 11th day of October, 1930.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Mauriceville County Putara Special-rating Area Loan of £150 (1930), authorized to be raised by the Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing a new bridge over the Mangatainoka River at Putara, within the said county, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of five-sixteenths (5/16th) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Putara Special-rating Area in the County of Mauriceville, being Sections 4, 5, 7, 10, and 11, and part Sections 6 and 8, Block IX, Tararua Survey District, bounded commencing at the northernmost junction of the said Section 6 with the north-eastern boundary of the Mauriceville County by the north-western boundaries of the said Sections 6 and 7; thence by the south-western boundary of the said Section 7 to its junction with the north-western boundary of the said Section 11; thence by the north-western and south-western boundaries of the said Section 11, and the south-western, south-eastern, and north-eastern boundaries of the said Section 10 to the junction of the said north-eastern boundary of the said Section 10 with the south-eastern boundary of the said Section 5; thence by the south-eastern boundaries of the said Sections 5, 4, and 8 to the Mauriceville County boundary; thence by the north-eastern boundary of the Mauriceville County to the starting-point; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of April and the first day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six (26) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Mauriceville was hereto affixed at the office of and pursuant to a resolution of the Council in the presence of—
