WIRI DRAINAGE BOARD.

DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT LOAN, 1930, £850.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Land Drainage Act, 1908, and amendments thereto, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Wiri Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of £850, authorized to be raised by the Wiri Drainage Board under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of carrying out general drainage work, including the cleaning-out and removing of obstructions in the Puhinui Stream, and cleaning out and reinstating ditches draining therein, the said Wiri Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of twenty-one thirty-seconds of a penny (21/32d.) in the pound (£) on the capital value of Class “A” Lands, a special rate of fifteen thirty-seconds of a penny (15/32d.) in the pound (£) on the capital value of Class “B” Lands, and a special rate of nine thirty-seconds of a penny (9/32d.) in the pound (£) on the capital value of Class “C” Lands, being rateable property in the Wiri Drainage District; and that such special rates shall be annually recurring rates during the currency of such loan, and be payable annually on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twelve years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WEARN’S AUTOMATIC DRIVE COMPANY, LTD.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of WEARN’S AUTOMATIC DRIVE COMPANY, LIMITED.

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company duly convened and held at the Art Gallery, Armagh Street, Christchurch, on the 29th day of September, 1930, the following resolution was duly passed, and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the said company also duly convened and held at the same place on the 13th day of October the same resolution was duly conferred as a special resolution—namely, “That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that Mr. GEORGE LESTER DONALDSON be appointed Liquidator.”

IN LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and its amendments, and in the matter of MORROW AND HADLOW, LTD. (in Liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that by resolution dated the 17th October, 1930, the above company went into voluntary liquidation, and the undersigned was appointed Liquidator of the said company.

All persons and firms having claims against the above company are requested to lodge same with the Liquidator not later than the 7th day of November, 1930.

MANAWATU - OROUA RIVER BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

No. 3 Separate Area Loan, 1930, £2,666 13s. 4d.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it on that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Manawatu-Oroua River Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,666 13s. 4d., authorized to be raised by the Manawatu-Oroua River Board under the above-mentioned Act, for stop-banking, river-protection, flood-gates, fencing, and planting, the said Manawatu-Oroua River Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of threepence one farthing on all rateable property of the No. 3 Separate Area of the Manawatu-Oroua River Board District, comprising the Makerua Subdivision of the Manawatu-Oroua River District.

The said Separate Area No. 3 is shown on the map of the Moutere and Mount Robinson Survey Districts signed by F. C. Hay, Civil Engineer, and deposited in the Board’s Office, and therein coloured blue.

That such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of December in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of seventeen years from 1st December, 1930, or until the loan is fully paid.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution carried at the meeting of the Manawatu-Oroua River Board held on the 16th October, 1930.
