David Sinclair Moodie, of Matainui,

to be an Inspector of Sea-fishing for the purposes of Part I of the first-mentioned Act.

THE following notice, received from the Chairman, Otatau Town Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926.

OTATAU TOWN BOARD.

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of the provisions of section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, that at the poll of ratepayers of the Otatau Town Board District held at Otatau on Monday, the 13th day of October, 1930, upon the proposal of the Otatau Town Board to raise a special loan for the erection of a gallery and carrying out improvements and alterations in and to the Coronation Hall at Otatau, including the provision of seating-accommodation, particulars of the votes cast at the said poll are as follows :

For the proposal .. .. .. 58
Against the proposal .. .. 23
Informal .. .. .. Nil.

As the total number of valid votes recorded in favour of the proposal is at least three-fifths of the total number of valid votes recorded at the poll, I, the undersigned, as Chairman of the Otatau Town Board, declare the proposal carried.
