Revoking a Proclamation taking additional Land at Elmer Lane for the Purposes of the Greymouth-Otira Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section twenty-seven of the Public Works Act, 1928, it is enacted that if at any time after the issue or making of any Proclamation taking land under this Act, and before the payment or award of any compensation in respect to the taking thereof, it is found that the land or any part thereof is not required for the purpose for which it was taken, the Governor-General may, by a subsequent Proclamation gazetted, revoke the former Proclamation, either wholly or so far as he thinks necessary:

And whereas it is found that the additional land at Elmer Lane taken for the purposes of the Greymouth-Otira Railway by a Proclamation made under the Public Works Act, 1928, dated the twenty-seventh day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty (hereinafter termed “the said Proclamation”), and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 49, of the third day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, page 2070, is not required for the purposes for which it was taken:

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers enabling me in this behalf, do hereby revoke the said Proclamation.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of October, 1930.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the Ravensbourne-Dunedin deviation of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway, and for street-diversions in connection therewith.

Regulating the Importation of Films for Cinematographs and Similar Instruments.—(C. No. 73.)

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 20th day of October, 1930.

THE HON. E. A. RANSOM, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section forty-six of the Customs Act, 1913, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit the importation into New Zealand, save with the consent of the Minister of Customs, of films for cinematographs and similar instruments unless in pursuance of a permit issued in that behalf by the Minister of Internal Affairs.

This Order in Council shall come into force on and from a date to be determined by the Minister of Customs, and to be notified by publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

Notifying Lands in North Auckland Land District for Sale by Public Auction.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section one hundred and thirty-two of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Monday, the first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, as the time at which the land described in the First Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction for cash only, and the lands in the Second Schedule for cash or on deferred payments; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedules hereto.
