A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the second day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 29·2 perches. Being portion of Section 1, Block II, Moeangiangi Survey District (Hawke’s Bay R.D.). (S.O. 1008.)

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 77987, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Allocating to the Purposes of a Road Land in Block XVI, Manganui Survey District, taken for a Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto, and which was taken for a further portion of the North Island Main Trunk Railway, and which is no longer required for such purposes, shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Waimarino County Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Orepuki-Waiau Railway to take further land near Te Waewae, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway: Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
