THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Section 36, Block VII; thence by a right line across that road and along the north-western boundary of the said Section 36, along the south-western boundaries of Sections 18, 19, part 20, and part 21, Block VII; thence along the north-western boundary of the said part 21 to its junction with the Kaipikari Road; thence by a right line across that road to the south-western boundary of Section 13, Block VII; and thence by the south-western and north-western boundaries of Section 13 to the point of commencement; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off. We hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed in accordance with the Counties Act, 1920, and its amendments, at a meeting of the Clifton County Council held on Friday, the 3rd day of October, 1930.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following resolution was passed by the company in general meeting on the 19th September, 1930, and confirmed at a subsequent meeting held on the 17th October, 1930:—

“That, in view of the fact that it cannot pay its debts, the company go into voluntary liquidation, and that Mr. L. A. DENTON, of Hastings, Public Accountant, be appointed Liquidator for the purpose of winding up its affairs.”

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND IN KOHEWHATA 69 BLOCK, OMAPERE SURVEY DISTRICT, FOR THE PURPOSES OF A RECREATION-GROUND.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Kaikohe Town Board proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to acquire a recreation-ground for the Kaikohe Town District, and for the purposes of such recreation-ground the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken:

And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited at the office of the Kaikohe Town Board, Kaikohe, and is there open for inspection (without fee) during office hours; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land for the purposes aforesaid should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of the said land for the purposes aforesaid, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the 9th day of October, 1930, being the date of the first publication of this notice, to the Kaikohe Town Board, Kaikohe.

SCHEDULE.

Approximate area of land required to be taken: Thirteen acres two roods five and eight-tenths perches.

Being Lot 4 on deposited plan Number 22327, of a subdivision of part of Kohewhata 69 Block, situated in Block XV, Omarere Survey District, in the Land District of North Auckland. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan above referred to, and deposited at the office of the Kaikohe Town Board.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between SAUL SOLOMON, ALBERT ERNEST GASCOIGNE, JOHN SUTHERLAND SINCLAIR, and DAVID ABRAHAM SOLOMON, carrying on business as Barristers and Solicitors at Dunedin under the style or firm of Solomon, Gascoigne, Sinclair, and Solomon, has been dissolved as from the 4th day of October, 1930.

THE GUARDIAN, TRUST, AND EXECUTORS COMPANY OF NEW ZEALAND, LIMITED.

I, RICHARD FROUDE WARD, Manager of the Guardian, Trust, and Executors Company of New Zealand, Limited, do solemnly and sincerely declare:—

  1. That the liability of the members is limited.
  2. That the capital of the company is £100,000, divided into 20,000 shares of £5 each.
  3. That the number of shares issued is 20,000.
  4. That calls to the amount of three pounds (£3) per share on 2,500 shares and three shillings (3s.) per share in 17,500 shares have been made, under which the sum of £10,125 has been received.
  5. That the amount of all moneys received on account of estates on the 1st day of July last is £7,006,066 5s. 4d.
  6. That the amount of all moneys paid on account of estates on that day is £7,000,018 16s. 7d.
  7. That the amount of the balances due to estates under administration on that day is £6,047 8s. 9d.
  8. That the liabilities of the company as on the 1st day of July last were £35,139 12s. 1d.
  9. That the assets of the company on that day were £72,846 0s. 11d.
  10. That the first annual license was issued on the 10th day of March, 1911.

And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true and by virtue of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.
