NOTICE OF CHANGE OF SURNAME.
I, AMEN RAYMON, of the City of Wellington, in New Zealand, General Storekeeper, heretofore called by the name of AMEN ROMANOS, hereby give notice that on the 4th day of October, 1930, I renounced and abandoned the use of my said surname of “Romanos” and assumed in lieu thereof the surname of “Raymon;”
And, further, that such change of name is evidenced by a deed poll dated the 4th day of October, 1930, duly executed by me, and attested and enrolled in the office of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, at Wellington.

CLIFTON COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Clifton County Kaipikari Special-rating Area Loan of £1,250, 1930, authorized to be raised by the Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of reforming and metalling portion of the Kaipikari Road within the said county, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of seven-eighths (7/8ths) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value, on the basis of the capital value, of all rateable property in the Kaipikari Special-rating District in the County of Clifton, comprising all that area bounded as follows: Commencing at the northernmost corner of Section 13, Block VII, Waitara Survey District, and proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction along the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 13, Block VII, and part Sections 14 and 15B, Block VIII, to a point opposite the western corner of Part I, Block VII; thence along the north-western and eastern boundaries of the said Part I, Section 17, and Part I, Block VIII, to its junction with the northern boundary of Section 2, Block VIII; thence along the northern boundary of the said Section 2 to its junction with the Nelson Road; thence southerly along the western boundary of the Nelson Road to a point opposite the northern boundary of Section 13, Block VIII; thence by a right line across that road and along the northern boundary of the said Section 13 to its junction with the Kohangamoa Road; thence southerly along the eastern boundaries of Section 13, Block VIII, Section 7, Block XII, to its junction with the Kaipikari Road; thence by a right line across that road to its junction with the eastern boundary of Section 6, Block XII; thence along the eastern boundary of the said Section 6 and along the eastern, southern, and western boundaries of Section 8, Block XII, to the north-eastern corner of Section 37, Block XI; thence along the southern and western boundaries of Sections 27 and 38, Block XI, to its junction with the Matapo Road; thence by a right line across that road to the southern boundary of Section 43, Block XI; thence generally in a northerly direction along the south-western boundaries of Sections 43, 42, and 41, Block XI; thence along the north-western boundaries of part Sections 2, 3, and 4, Block VII, to its junction with the south-western boundary of Section 5, Block VII; thence along the south-western boundary of the said Section 5 to its junction with the Tikorangi Road; thence along that road to a point opposite the western corner of
