Lauriston–Barrhill: All that road or portion of road in the Ashburton County commencing at Lauriston at a point opposite the western corner of Rural Section 26710, Block VII, Corwar Survey District, and proceeding generally in a north-easterly direction via Lauriston and Barrhill Road, but excluding that portion common to the Rakaia–Methven–Alford Forest Main Highway and terminating at its junction with the River Road Main Highway at Barrhill Post-office, being a distance of 5 miles 19 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 80022, and thereon coloured red.
Arowhenua–Fairlie via Pleasant Point and Middle Valley: All that road or portion of road in the Pleasant Point Town District and the Levels County commencing at its junction with the Timaru–Queenstown via Tekapo and Lindis Pass Main Highway at Pleasant Point, and proceeding generally in a north-westerly and westerly direction via Opihi Road and Howell’s Plantation Road, and terminating at the eastern corner of Section 7710, Block III, Pareora Survey District, being a distance of 2 miles 64 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 80023, and thereon coloured red.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington.

Portions of Roads in the Takaka County exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of October, 1930.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in any-wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Takaka County Council, the portions of roads affected by such resolution being more particularly described in the Schedule hereto, viz:—
“The Takaka County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads of the Takaka County, by resolution passed this second day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of the roads passing through Section 29, Block X, Waitapu Survey District, and coloured red on this plan”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the portions of roads (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-lines of the said portions of roads.
SCHEDULE.
THE north-eastern side of all that portion of road in the Nelson Land District, County of Takaka, fronting part Section 29, Takaka District, Block X, Waitapu Survey District; marked “A–B” on plan.
The south-western side of all that portion of road in the said land district and county fronting part Section 29, Takaka District, Block X, Waitapu Survey District; marked “C–D” on plan.
The north-western side of all that portion of road in the said land district and county fronting part Section 29, Takaka District, Block X, Waitapu Survey District; marked “D–E” on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 79984, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

4 Street connecting Tuam Street and Green’s Way, in the City of Christchurch, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in any-wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Christchurch City Council on the seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, viz.:—
“The Christchurch City Council, having control of the streets in the City of Christchurch, hereby by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the public right-of-way running from Tuam Street to Green’s Way, and adjoining Town Sections 1006 and 1004”;
subject to the condition that no shop or other building with a public entrance from the street, described in the Schedule hereto, and no show-windows fronting the said street displaying wares for sale shall at any time be erected or permitted to be used on the land fronting either side of the said street within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said street.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that street, situated in the Canterbury Land District, City of Christchurch, connecting Tuam Street and Green’s Way, and fronting Town Sections 1004 and 1006. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 79804, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.

The North-western Side of Portion of George Street and the South-western Side of Portion of Burkes Street, in the Borough of West Harbour, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

“That the West Harbour Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the West Harbour Borough, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to portions of the north-western side of George Street and the south-western side of Burkes Street, in the said West Harbour Borough, where such portions of streets abut on Allotments 40, 41, and 42, Township of Burkeston, Block I; the said portions of streets are more particularly shown on the plan annexed hereto and are thereon coloured brown and edged with red to the centre-line”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the north-western side of the portion of George Street or the south-western side of the portion of Burkes Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portions of streets.
