Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.

SCHEDULE.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.

RESERVE 4259, Block III, Halswell Survey District: Area, 63 acres 1 rood 5 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of October, 1930.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), has recommended that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing 527 acres 2 roods 32 perches, more or less, being part Section 12, Block VII, Matiri Survey District, and bounded towards the north-east and east by Sections 15 and 10, Block VII; towards the south-east by the remaining portion of before-mentioned Section 12 and a road; towards the south-west by Section 1, Block VII, and Crown land; and towards the north-west by Crown land. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 31/461, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of October, 1930.

WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), has recommended that the lands described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 28 acres 1 rood 20 perches, more or less, being Reserve No. 4229 (formerly part of Rural Section No. 31968), situated in Block VII, Akaroa Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the south-east by Rural Section No. 34899 and Reserve No. 3361, 3188 links; towards the south-west and west generally by Rural Section No. 31968, 1247·1, 587·8, 454·0, 219·3, and 342·2 links; and again towards the north-west by Section 13, Kinloch Settlement, 2051·9 links.

Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 6 acres 2 roods 27 perches, more or less, being Reserve No. 4230 (formerly part of Rural Section No. 34860), situated in Block VII, Akaroa Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-west generally by Rural Section No. 34860, 217·9, 462·9, 369·9, and 317·7 links; again towards the north-east by Rural Section No. 34860, 753·1 links; again towards the south-east by Rural Section No. 34860, 391·0, and 301·9 links; and again towards the south and west generally by the Wainui Road, a total of 1107·8 links. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/433E, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Additional Land at Bryndwyr taken for the Purposes of the Hurunui–Waitaki Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Hurunui–Waitaki Railway to take further land at Bryndwyr, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of this piece of land: 15·6 perches.

Portion of Lots 2 and 3, D.P. 5942, of Rural Section 453, City of Christchurch. (S.O. 2181, red.)

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 1100, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of October, 1930.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Wellington–Napier Railway to take further land at Petone, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 26·51 perches.
